The clutch plate is probably stuck. If you have a clear space in front of the truck select first gear, release the parking brake and start the engine with your foot on the clutch. The vehicle will lerch forward and the engine should start with the vehicle now moving forward. Hit the brakes with your left foot still on the clutch and the clutch will probably release and work normally.

One of the improvement for Lotus Elise was the power (hydraulic) 5 speed manual clutch (something like power brakes) to make car to provide the faster responce. Thats probably wthat you have where
You might need to adjust it, replace the fluid or in a worsest scenatio to rebuild/replace the clutch.

Sounds like a bad master cylinder or a throwout bearing that has gotten strange on you. (I'd know right away if I was there) Definitely don't drive it like that...you can damage the synchros in the transmission if you do. Also check the slave cylinder if it's not part of the throwout bearing...It also could have a problem.

Any adjustment for hino dutro tipper pto.

When engaging the pto it is important that you have the clutch disengaged so that the pto gear is not spinning in the box.before it engages.
The pto gear runs off the counter shaft of the gear box and is spinning all the time the engine is running
when engaging the pto ,you are physically engaging a gear ( like selecting 1st gear) so you have to stop the counter shaft spinning so that the pto gear will engage with slashing

Started off with cluth sticking to floor.would have to pull clutch pedal back up with foot. truck would stick in gear. even with clutch fully depressed. seemed like spring had disconnected from clutch...

your clutch uses a hydraulic master and slave cylinder to disengage. It is likely that the slave has been leaking and the reservoir gone dry, thus allowing air into the system and reducing effectiveness. Check the clutch master cylinder reservoir (near the brake reservoir) fluid level. If low, also check the slave cylinder at the clutch for leakage. If leaking, replace the slave and bleed the system. If you need procedures or have more questions, please let us know.

Clutch Dodge SX2.0 2004

Just to be sure recheck the fluid level of the mastercylinder again. If it is a little low refill with proper fluid, and work the clutch several times with parking brake set. Also check the clutch pedal bushings at the top of clutch pedal to make sure there is no sticking or excessive wear. If you find anything unusal about the bushings, they need to be replaced. Hope this will help you.

My 2005 Pontiac Sunfire intermittantly grinds when shifting into first gear. This has been happening ever since I took the car in for its 60,000 mile tune-up early this year. I replaced my clutch three...

I believe the problem is the first gear synchronizer. They are what allows the gears to mesh together without grinding. As they wear, they are less able to mesh the gears together without grinding. The first gear gets used the most, so that one usually wears first. Each gear has them, so as time goes on, the others will wear. To replace the synchronizer/s, involves diaasembling the transmission. I would have the transaxle fluid level checked, maybe as simple as that. But usually it's the prior.
