Probably the device has calcium built up in it. Do a proper flushing round of at least 500ML (around 15 flushings) or do the "Decalcify" program with the needed tablet for the machine.

SOURCE: Hi, I have an XP7240 and recently i only half a

I can remove the bean container by pulling off the grind selector knob and removing the only screw.
Then remove the scute for the cleaning tablets. Then remove the two screws that were covered by the scute. Remove the water tank. Under the tank remove the two screws.
Then the trick where everyone seems to look for: The facade of aluminum can be moved off. Set the machine on the floor and pull hard upwards at the facade. This comes off (pull hard!) and four screw are uncovered. Remove them and pull then back housing of the machine (remove first the containers/drawers). Now the inner parts are freely accessible. Take photos and remove the components from top till bottom to get to the bad parts that need replacement. It's a lot of work but if you're handy you can get to the valve on the bottom of the machine. I have the same problem but haven't looked up the replacement part (can be expensive). Good luck!

Delonghi Nespresso Coffee Machine Model EN66 After years of great use our machine now has small drips from the main coffee/water spout after use.

Try running apple cider vinegar through it. A few times. This is a mild acid that will get rid of mineral deposits from water. I do this on my coffee maker. Run straight water a few times after to get rid of the vinegar taste.

Nespresso U coffee does not come through the spout

There are two nozzles in front of the machine attached together, the nose of the bigger one on the top slides into the smaller one on the bottom. When it makes coffee, the spout outside the machine becomes lower so coffee can come out. When it is done making coffee, the spout goes up so water/coffee drips in the drip tray. If one of the nozzles breaks, the spout on the smaller one will not go down and the inside end is lower and coffee goes inside the drip tray. It has nothing to do with cleaning.

We have a brilliant Briel Multipro that we use every day but when we have made a cup of coffee and release the coffee holder, steam and hot water spurts from the head area...It stops after a few seconds...

First, I'm NOT a Briel technician, But if you still have pressure from the removal of the portafilter (or capsule) then the exit or pour spout is clogged. You can soak a standard portafilter in warm water over nite and wash it clean in the morning. Really bad? then soak in urn cleaner and flush thoroughly prior to use. For capsule machines follow the MFR's instructions to properly flush the machine. You may also try to "fool" the machine into making a 'no coffee' shot by reusing old capsules over and over again to try and flush out old coffee from the spout. Otherwise the unit may need servicing to remove the clog as most of these capsule machines do not have serviceable parts. Contact your vendor or MFR directly for service or replacement.
*warning! Try not to stick a pin, nail, or paper clip into spout(s) as this may damage valve or offset the dual pour spout. Most of these machines have double spouts and can be easily pushed out of alignment.
* Final; I've noted that your probably using a portafilter type machine. If you have water or steam dripping from head then there is a leak in your head valve or commonly called the 'Group Valve'. Fortunately this is a serviceable part and can be replaced by your vendor.
PS. Have you tried 'Back Flushing? Use a "BLANK" portafilter basket (the one with no holes) or a back flush rubber stopper (from Cimbali). Add a 1/4 teaspoon of urn cleaner of flush cleaner to portafilter and lock onto group. Run shot till it stops (excess pressure and dose will by-pass the group valve. This will flush old coffee and crud out the by-pass pipe and into drain tray. If nothing happens and the group hums for longer than 20 seconds then your probably got a clogged valve and back flush pipe. All will need disassembly, cleaning and/or replacement. Best to call your Vendor for service.
*Be sure to run the group several times and wash the portafiler to get rid of the urn cleaner.
*Tip; It's a good idea to back flush every hour with with plain water from the shot to just get rid of the coffee grounds stuck to the group shower head and leftover coffee in the group valve. Does not hurt the machine and keeps everything working smoothly.

Water not coming out of dispensing area, goes to drip tray instead Water comming out in drip tray instead of regular way

Try this, if the machine has a pregrind door(usually on the top front) then use the button to tell it you are using pre grind coffee, if water comes out the spout this way then the grind on the grinder is too fine, if it goes out the drain then the coffee passage is blocked, remove the brew unit and check/clear tubes, also clean the spouts on the door of the unit.

Jura Impresso E9 not dripping through spouts but into drip tray

This is most likely due to a bad o'ring. The bar you speak of...Does the unit have a small spout pointing upward from the area?...with a groove? Is the o'ring in that groove damaged or missing? When the grounds are compressed in the piston, the brew unit lowers down onto this spout and seals on it. The high pressure water then is injected upward inot the brew unit. When this seal fails the water simply leaks into the tray when there are grounds providing backpressure. When rinsing and no backpressure some of the water may be getting through. Make sure you lube up any seals with a food grade lube. Olive oil will work in a pinch.
