I recently moved and lost the power cable for ny Westinghouse LCD Flarscreen TV. How can I get a replacement and the cost.

You can get one online for only a few bucks...look at the male plug on the set, there are 3 kinds of plugs used, one is like a computer monitor 3 prong plug, another is a 2 prong round on one side and square on the other and the 3rd is a 3 prong but its rounded on the ends, unfortunatly there are a few models that use a transformer hopefully yours isn't one like that...here is the most common one in Westinghouse....https://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-Power-Cord-Cable-for-Westinghouse-LCD-TV-10-Feet-10Ft-Extra-Long-/172208931835?epid=1970030091&hash=item281873c3fb:g:wb4AAOSwIzNXOfJD

Skill saw table saw model 3400.Bypassed on off switch still no power?Does motor have a breaker on inside?

I have the same saw.

Sorry but this question has to be asked, is the AC (Alternating Current) outlet working/ an live outlet? Had to ask.

If outlet is good move on to the next steps.

Take an ohm meter / continuity meter.

With the AC power cord unplugged from the AC wall outlet.

Place the two test leads from the meter onto the plug prongs .

With the switched closed/ON, you should get zero ohms (or very low, close to zero/ continuity).

In your case you probably will not have any continuity because it doesn't turn on.

Now comes the fun part trying to find the problem/ open connection.

Lots of possibilities.

  1. The AC cord could be bad at the plug end.

  2. The AC cord could be bad at the point entering the table saw.

  3. The motor could be bad.

  4. The brushes in the motor could be bad.

  5. The field winding in the motor could be open/bad.

The plan is to ohm/continuity check the path of the power going to the motor, (both sides of wiring).

While meter leads are on the AC plug end, wiggle the strain relief ends. You have an intermittent connection.

TROUBLE: SAW WILL NOT START

PROBLEM 1. Power cord is not plugged in.

2. Fuse or circuit breaker tripped.

3. Cord damaged.

4. Burned out switch.

REMEDY 1. Plug saw in.

2. Replace fuse or reset tripped circuit breaker.

3. Have cord replaced by an Authorized Skil Service Center or Service Station.

4. Have switch replaced by an Authorized Skil Service Center or Service Station.

I have a Roland Fantom FA76 midi keyboard. I don't have a power supply cord for it. Where it plugs into the keyboard looks just like the cord that would plug into a desktop computer, three prong female...

yes they are the same type of cords as for the specs that is statting what the internal power converter can safely use to power the devices in the appropriate modes to change the mode you need to pen the pannel and change the seitch position, the factory default is 110-117V AC, if by chance that it is set to the higher settings the only sighn would be that the fuse will keep blowing on the device or it will cut in and out.

LOST POWER SUPPY CORED

Typically all the television power cables are all the same. They all have the three pronged outlet, with the three females ports. Its the same power cable as a desktop computer. So, if you have an extra one lying around, use that.

My power cord to my tv got lost during the move and was trying too find another one

If this is just a cord and not an AC Adapter, the cord is mostly similar to the cord used for PC desktop computers, just make sure if it is 2 or 3 prong connector, then you should easily find one in any local PC repair shop or on the net. Otherwise if it is an adapter then you will need to get a replacement one from either samsung or ebay but you need to use the Model number in your search. good luck

No power to my rca tv model number F27733SB. the slot for the power cord that goes from the tv to the wall is missing a 3rd prong on the "male" side that is actually in the Tv. The unversal...

Hello
Only a two prong wire is needed for any TV to switch on. A three prongs are used for electrical equipments like Mixie, Grider and son, to get onw of the prngs to earth point to avoid accidents due to electric shock. Even though, your tv is provided a three prong wire for its power supply, only two of them are used inside the tv to work on. One amoung them are set free inside the TV. You kust try by replaceing the present wire by a new one. If the problem perists, inform me through Fixya, with as much as details you can send. OK.

Lines in LCD tv moving from bottom to top when connectin RCA

Hey there,

There may be a ground loop in your electrical wiring. Try connecting a 3 prong to 2 prong AC adapter between the power cord and the electrical wall outlet. You can find one in any hardware store for around one dollar. This will lift the ground from the TV. If your lines go away you may have an issue with your electrical wiring in the house or on an internal part on one of the components. The least expensive fix is to leave the adapter in place. I hope this helps.
