SOURCE: Bad ice taste/smell

It's not town water. It's something in the refrigerator. My unfiltered tap water tastes better than the Whirlpool channeled ice and water. Moreover, a Brita faucet filter does a wonderful job in removing all tastes from my unfiltered water. I change my Whirlpool filters as often as required.

SOURCE: Coffee tastes burnt/No steam for froth

I don't know about the burning business but I had the same problem with the steam wand. the first thing I did to solve this problem was to take small object like a needle or safety pen and insert it into the base of the steam wand. (I have feeling that most problems related to the steaming wand are due to deposits clogging the wand itself.) After I cleared out as best I could I used vinegar and water to help remove any calcium deposits. Sure enough, after inserting the needle into the wand steam began to flow again.

SOURCE: Milk wont come through, not even steam

Check the cappuccinotore valve, disassemble and clean out the small hole for the milk passage, that may be blocked with milkstone.

SOURCE: When I steam my milk

The boiler needs to be cleaned, it is contaminated with milk. Check the water from the tea spicket, if it smells funny or it is discolored then the boiler is contaminated, if not then the problem is at the steam wand and steam valve.

Why doI get a bitter taste and some smells in the cabin of my car while driving?

Hi there,
The bitter taste could be either burning oil getting on the manifold from either rocker cover gasket blown out /or manifold gasket leaking fumes /or could be coolant leaking on to hot engine all of these will cause the same taste and smells ,so i would like more information as to the problem after you have checked out the above items please.

I have a nespresso Latissima with auto milk frothier & the plastic tube which draws the milk tastes & smells like curdled milk. I can taste it in the coffee as well.

Try running 1/5th vinegar and 4/5 water through the frothing device. This will clean out any gunk that might have clogged the interior

Whats the difference between skim and whole milk?

Skim milk is milk that contains no more than .5% fat by weight, while whole milk contains about 3.5 percent fat. This means that whole milk contains more calories than skim milk (almost half as much). Also, skim milk and whole milk taste differently because of the fat content. Most people prefer whole milk's taste because skim milk is too watery.

Ice tastes funny and a strange metallic or plastic type smell

Sometimes the smell comes from something in the freezer or even the refrigeratior and makes the ice taste funny. My suggestion is to clean out the freezer compartment of anything frozen that has been there a while and may have freezer burn. That may be the funny smell you are experiencing.
Hope this will help you.
