Hi I hope someone can help I have a Kenwood classic The chef and a major range KM001 – KM007 When I turn it on the motor is making a strange noise will work for a few seconds and then stops ?

What you need is a service manual which is difficult to get for any Chef regardless of the KM300. Ive got a KM310 model but the user manual is similar to this if it helps:

I hope you didn't buy a new one, ours stopped last week after 25 years. All that was needed were new brushes for the motor. Anyone with a screwdriver could replace them. 4Kenwood had the parts to me in a couple of days.

Hi. I've checked the Kenwood Service website and from what it looks like, A720 mincer is only suitable for A701, A701A, A702, and for Major models A707, A707A, A717.

The mincer specified for the KM800 (from it's owners manual) is the
A950.
