SOURCE: I have Grundig 32 VLE 6520 BH and When I find programs automaticly it finds it and it is all ok until I turn off the tv. When I turn on again the programs are gone and i have to do it all over again.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

The information you provide does not allow to automatically nail the board that is causing the problem.

Over time information may build up , enough to allow statistical probability of pointing out the source based on this description alone, but as of right now you can't be certain.

What I would do is disconnect the backlight portion of the TV from the power board and see if the problem continues.

Then I'd take the power board, signal it individually as illustrated in many articles around the net and see if it comes on and stays on.

Another approach would be to just start repalcing the suspects.

Usually it goes in order of "cheapest to try first in order of likely troublemakers" and that may vary for different TVs and at different times.

The power board is always going to be a suspect when an electronic device does not want to come up and as such you may consider the following:

If you happen to go ahead with it (and even if not) please be so kind to update your findings in this thread so that others after you may use your experience.

It takes so little to help each other out!

Bravia hdtv lcd momentary dim

It sounds like the power supply may be going. The back lights on a flat screen works the same as a flourescent light fixture. Flourescent lights have a ballast that powers on the bulbs. Flat screen tv's have capacitors on the power supply that when they charge power on the back lights of the tv. When you see the tv go dim it is actually the back lights that are dimming. This is usually from a faulty capacitor on the power supply not charging to its full potential. If you can open the tv and find the power supply look for any capacitors that are bugling at the top. These are most likely the culprits. A good cap tester is always handy to have although they are expensive ($100) it usually isn't cost effective to have it around just for rare occassions like this. You can remove the caps and take them to Radio Shack and they should be more than glad to test them for you. Before you do any of this though, look in your owners manual and see if there is a setting to where the tv does not use as much power. Maybe something like that is happening. The age of your tv can determine this too. If your tv is a few years old or burned for 20,000 to 50,000 hours the caps could very well be bad. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Grundig GU22 DVDP LCD TV. No image on screen.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.
