Hi, I have a Bush DWFS126W and keep getting an E7 error code. Any advice?!?!?

The E7 code means the potentiometer value the console is reading from the lift motor is out of range. This can happen when there is a bad wire harness connection or a damaged wire harness. It could also just mean the incline motor needs to be adjusted back into range.Jun 30, 2021

check power supply if have power going to panel then it is assumed that theirs a short in wiring somewhere if no power to unit check your breaker or power connection

E7The appliance is waiting for a signal from a flow meter. However this appliance is not fitted with a flow meter. See below for details on how to cure this fault.

For an E7 fault the PCB has to be reset:
1. With the door open, turn the appliance 'On'
2. Within 3 secs, push the program selection button 'P' 4 times

This error indicates a flood in the base of the machine. It maybe the float jammed in the Up position, especially if you have moved the machine.

Code E7 has got sub-codes. Go and press copy button to see the sub-code and then report it. Generally, this concerns the laser unit and i would advice you to clean the optical platen glass from interior and screw back well. If a code occurs, then report it for more help.

CCD calibration error. Make sure the optics are clean in the machine in the scanner and free of dust.

E7 codes deal with the optical scanner unit and or the laser unit. It could also be the lamp in the scanner unit. The E7 is the main code. There is a sub code associated with it. To view the sub code hold down the start button. Below is a list of specific codes and their meanings:
E7-02: LSU trouble
E7-10: Shading trouble (Black Correction)
E7-11: Shading trouble (White Correction)
E7-12: Shading Trouble
E7-16: Abnormal laser output
If it is a laser (LSU) issue then the LSU may need replacing.
If it is a shading error the first step is to remove the platen glass carefully (with the power off because the inverter board). There is a thin white strip on the bottom side of the platen next to the slit glass. Clean this white strip with a soft cloth and a small amout of isopropyl alcohol.
Dust on the optics can also cause shading reference errors so gently blow off the mirrors with canned air.
Perform the following key procedure to reset error:
"#" key, Interrupt key, "C" key, Interrupt key
"1" key, "4"key
Start key, "CA" key.
See if unit cycles and comes back up. If not turn off and then back on the main power.
If error reappears on site technical service may be required.
