Preventing crashes on my xbox one while playing xcom the chosen

Is this only happening on certain games? Mine crashes most often with Call of Duty: Ghosts, 2nd is Titanfall. It seems it happens on more demanding games as it has never crashed on a smaller downloaded game on my console. Many times this is fixed with a patch on their end as it is related to a programing error. You may also try uninstalling the game and reinstalling (yes this demands you redownload all patches just in case you obtained a corrupt download, very time consuming in some cases).

Go to the setting then go on storage then you should see the option to press Y press that it will clear all updates on your console now try borderland and re download the up date and see if it persisted

Does it feel very hot to the touch after it shuts down, and/or does it make a loud noise before crashing?? if so could be a problem with the fan, check that theres not too much dust build up in the exhaust fan port. if there is, either blow/use compressed air to clear the blockage

It sounds like your internet provider/router isn't giving you a whole lot of bandwidth to work with. That simply means your internet isn't giving you enough space to actually play call of duty. Your zombie game is probably playing alright because only four people need to connect to each other. That doesn't require a lot of space and memory of internet to do. However multiplayer demands a lot more bandwidth from your router. That might be why you aren't connecting. This could be for a number of reasons.

• Other people in your household are using the internet too, be it laptops, smart phones, printers, other gaming counsels, etc. Simply turn off these devices to receive more bandwidth for your xbox.
  
• Your router is a little too older for video games. If you are using a wireless router for your xbox, try plugging it directly to the wall or router.

It crashes because of EA :) They have problem with their servers and I think they've been shut down servers for a while. That's why you can't play online. But when I play offline, I can't save the game in any point or otherwise it says "Save failed" for plenty of times. I don't know why :)

Is there any way to set Call of Duty to exclude you from being chosen as Host, since one side of your link is limited to "dialup" on the uplink side? I have to confess that I am not a gamer myself, nor do I have a Satellite internet connection, but I would hope the game setup has someplace where you could declare your inability to host?

buy a fan for your xbox 360, if it continues contact microsoft and see if they have a solution, it could be an internal problem that needs repairing, i have the same problem but i am going to get a fan which will cool the 360, and reduce the chance of my 360 breaking

When someone say that his/her Xbox is having 3 red lights problem, It means it needs to be repaired. If you are using Cooler than it is not a cure but a prevention. You could have used cooler before acutally having the problem just to prevent your Xbox. But now you will have to either get it repaired from Microsoft (in case your Xbox's warranty is not expired, but one thing to note is that you will have to wait for at least 3-4 weeks to get back your Xbox) or you can Fix your Xbox's 3 red lights problem yourself with the help of DIY Video guide available on Internet. You can fix yourself without any technical knowledge.
