SOURCE: hotpoint condenser tumble dryer aquarius cdt00- wont dry

I am not familiar with this particular unit, but I have a condensing dryer (Malber) which pumps out the water by itself. I am guessing that your unit requires you to empty a bin manually. Even if the bin is empty, I think the unit thinks it needs to be emptied and that is why the dryer will not work to give you hot air. If you do have such a bin, it might have a weight switch which the unit uses to detect if the bin needs emptying. See if the weight switch is working. The same weight switch idea is used on dehumidifiers.

SOURCE: HOTPOINT AQUARIUS CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER CTD40

There are three water reservoirs - one at the bottom behind the condenser, a second at the back bottom of the machine and then a third at the top which is the one you would normally pull out to empty.

There is a hole at the bottom of the filter in the first reservoir (at the back of the condenser) which leads to the second reservoir at the back. If the hole gets clogged up with lint/muck then the reservoir at the back does not fill up.

So to solve this, unplug the machine, take out the condenser (front left bottom of the machine) reach through to the back and mop up the spare water with a towel and check that the hole to the back reservoir - you can feel this it is towards the right side at the back of the machine is clear from muck.

Once you have cleared it, water will flow to the second reservoir and then (once you switch on the machine) up to the main removeable reservoir at the top.

Hopefully this helps. GB

Common faults -
1 The heating elements can fail(meaning open circuit)
2 There are cut-outs (T.O.C's) thatmight need resetting
3 The thermostats (stats) can tripout or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehaveprograms that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcodeshowing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also bethe fault.

SHOULD THERE BE WATER COLLECTING IN THE BACK OF MY CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER?

Without make and model details it is all guesswork, but my guess is No!

Usually there is an outlet drain that pumps water into the drain for the washing machine, or it has a container you empty.

make model manual

Bush td7cnbcw tumble dryer, always worked perfectly. Only trying to turn it on the morning and the 3 and 9 hrs lights started flashing after 3 turns. Anyone know what this means?

The flashing lights on your Bush TD7CNBCW tumble dryer could indicate an error or fault in the machine. While I don't have access to specific error codes for this particular model, I can provide some general troubleshooting steps that may help you identify and resolve the issue:
1. Check the user manual: Refer to the user manual that came with your tumble dryer. It should contain information about error codes and their meanings. Look for any reference to the flashing lights you are seeing.
2. Power cycle the dryer: Turn off the dryer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and try turning it on again. Sometimes, power cycling can help reset the machine and clear minor glitches.
3. Check the door switch: Ensure that the door of the tumble dryer is fully closed and latched. The machine may not start if the door switch is not engaged properly.
4. Clear any obstructions: Make sure the drum inside the dryer can spin freely and is not obstructed by any items or lint buildup. Clear out any debris or lint that may be blocking the drum or the lint filter.
5. Check the water tank and filter: If your tumble dryer has a water tank or condenser unit, ensure that it is empty and clean. Additionally, clean the lint filter to ensure it is not clogged, as this can affect the dryer's performance.
6. Consult customer support: If the issue persists and you cannot find a resolution in the user manual, it is recommended to contact the Bush customer support or a qualified technician who can provide specific guidance and assistance for your model.
Remember, safety should always be a priority when dealing with electrical appliances. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to seek professional help to avoid any risks or further damage to the appliance.

Have a high water light comming on how do I get rid of it?

I assume you're talking about a condenser tumble dryer (or you are in a flood area ;-)

If it's a tumble dryer, then you need to empty the water catchment reservoir. Open the dryer door and there's usually a pull out plastic container at the bottom of the machine.

MED9700SQ dryer sensor light comes on but will not run

I have the same problem with the same model Maytag dryer. I called a repairman and paid a hefty service charge and the repairman found that the electronic control board needed to be replaced. This particular part (Part #8558455) costs between $250 and $350. Evidently there are many people with the same problem.

I have a fridgedaire front load dryer (Model AEQ6700FS0) and it will start up, run for about 30 seconds and then it stops tumbling and the 3 lights on the far right (drying, cooldown, extended tumble)...

This is just a guess in a way, as I don't have specific knowledge about your particular model, but could it be a wrinkle prevention feature? I know some dryers have a feature which will cycle the dryer on for an occasional short tumble if the regular cycle ends and the clothes have not been removed. Opening the door might be all it takes to cancel the function.

How to open the door of the siemens iQ300 washing machine

This problem has nothing to do with water in the machine. My IQ300 regularly refuses to open on the drying cycle! You have to open the small round compartment beneath the door and pull down on the black plastic strap to the right - you may need a utensil to pry it out. What a rubbish machine.

Machine thinks door is open and won't run a cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a catch latch on your dryer door and that may be softening up when the dryer gets warm and the clothes tumbling against the door is enough to push the door out to the point that it thinks it is open. Try this exersize... The next time you wash clothes place a chair sideways against the doon with your clothes basket on it and see it it completes the cycle If it does then your door latch and actuating arm / post need replaced.

Bosch Tumble Dryer Filter Light

Helenhjb, there is a couple of things I can think of that can cause this. The filter is one. The mesh on the filter is extremely fine, so get a steady stream of water running, then put the filter under the water. If the water doesn't run straight thru, then wash the filter with detergent until the water does run straight thru. If this works fine, then your issue may be that the door switch is set too far back and when you do heavy loads, the laundry pushes on the door and shuts down the dryer. On the Bosch, any time you open the door during the cycle, it will flash the lint filter lamp. The only other thing I know of usually has an E:01 flashing on the display is restricted vent. Hope this helps.
