I have a TCL model#L40P60UF and as soon as i plunge in to a power point a red light just turns on for a few seconds than nothing Can u help me out guys

Hi Riley, you can change every board in the TV and it's still not going to work, you have bad LED lamps, the strips need to be replaced to fix he set. The tolerances for the inverter current are really close on this model set, it's going into over current shutdown.

It might seem silly, but often this is due to a physically sticking button, often dirt in the remote. You can try using a spray switch cleaner. If that fails try buying a replacement remote. They are usually cheap and available online

I've been successful helping other friends with this by going online and finding a language translator that'll guide you through a Factory Reset (or System Reset) where you should be able to choose your choice of language settings. Be patient with this one.

Please try the following steps to solve your PS3 problem :

Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)

Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it and then about 5 seconds later it will beep again. Let go of the power button when you hear this second beep.

Step 3. Wait for your PS3 to start.

This solution basically resets the video output back to standard definition.

i have tcl satellite tv...the porblem is when i switched on , 5 or more minutes after, the tv unit shut off itself. Sometimes the tv scan its channels first before having picture then shut off after few minutes..varying time when shutting off.....And when using for video movies everything alright....please tell me what to do??...any solutions??..advance thanx to those who could help...
