Console lights up, start and stop do not work, speed and incline do not work. motor control board has a steady red led
My treadmill has been going bonkers but I did run across and answer but not sure its the right one. It stated that if it keeps restarting then try a different power outlet. You could not be receiving enough watts on the system. It didn't work for mine treadmill but maybe it will work for yours. If you look up fixing treadmills on youtube you will see the worker going over this problem.
SOURCE: start and speed controls not working properly
do you have the magnet in place on the cut-off sensor? it sound like this is missing, as the treadmill will not turn the belt without it.
SOURCE: I have a proform j8li treadmill, all 4 led lights
I have the exact same problem with the very same treadmill that i bouth 10 years ago and it has been sitting for 5 years unused. The last time it was turned on it worked but now that I plug it in and try to start it, everything works but the belt drive motor. Any ideas?
SOURCE: only one program works. you
Dear Sir:
I will help you inmediately.
SOLUTION: a. Remove the key from the console and unplug the
power cord. Remove the screws from the hood and
carefully remove the hood. Locate the Reed Switch
and the Magnet on the left side of the Pulley
. Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with
the Reed Switch. Make sure that the gap between
the Magnet and the Reed Switch is about 1/8ó. If
necessary, loosen the Reed Switch Screw and
move the Reed Switch slightly. Retighten the Screw.
Re-attach the hood, and run the treadmill for a few
minutes to check for a correct speed reading.
Please check it and contact me if there are any additional help. blessing. sincerely.
