must sync blu tooth devices. see if it recognizes device, both must be on. and do it when you are not driving. at start up, before you drive. Thanks! safety first!! the radio might have an ID that must be entered into phone.
Is this a problem when utilizing power on via the patch cord (power adapter) or when separated and powered by internal battery? If when attached to adapter, you may try another power adapter to see if this happens with the alternative unit. If so; the internal power supply may be defective or a short on the circuit board may occur.
I had the same problem. stopped turning on one fine day after a little more than a week of installing. then started working again after a few months. realized that it turned on when i thought i had lost it for good. then i also realized that the other instruments in my car were reset, like clock, radio etc. then realized that someone had removed the batteries and installed it again. the clocks restart when you do that. then i realized thats what must've worked and i was right. keeps 'not turning on' from time to time nowadays as well. but works every time i disconnect the batteries and connect them again. like restarting it. hope it works for you too...
before jumping into updating or flashing the software of the unit we may try few steps to get it working.
try this one:
on the parrot go to settings
advanced settings
pair with phone....
(on your phone...search the parrot.)
set the pairing using the "1234" password.
if that doesn''t work try to push the red the green and the wheel.(this method will reset the CK1300) whne pushing do not let go until the screen changes display, may take at least 3-5 seconds.
