I am renovating and I have removed my bath sauna pump - Onga model 4388. My question is do you either have a fitting that would block off the pipes that are left sitting there that go to the bath OR if I were to go to a plumbers supply shop what would I ask for to do that job? Also if I use the bath without using the pump does the water come down the two pipes regardless of the pump not operating? Cheers Rob

the sump is in the bottom center front. a retangle screen with a center filter should unscrew counterclockwise the drain pump is hard to access but if you want to let me know and I can walk you thru it..let me know if this helps

Kirsty - There could be an item like a hair clip Jamming the pump impeller. Or then it can be only a blockage in the filter or in the waste pipe or if the waste is connected to your sink drain check that the blockage is not there - either in the end of the pipe or in the sink connection.
Try disconnecting at the sink, holding the waste pipe into a bucket see if it will pump out then. If it does then the problem lies in the sink plumbing - if not then it lies in the machine.
If the pump and filter and hoses are definitely clear you could have a Pump, PCB or wiring fault. Hope this helps.

some times you need two people one to hold the shaft the other to turn impeller on you need to put in a vice wraped in a towel and not to tight or break it off and replace it to
SOURCE: waste trap under bath leaks
put the putty under the flange where it makes contact with the inside of the bath, push the flange to the bath & tighten nut underneath. Trim off excess. Have an overflow pipe [not intergral] make sure the top & bottom of the collar have rubber seals
If the whole lot is plastic there may well be a leak down & along the thread of the waste.[it comes from the o/flow pipe collar] Silicone the thread and tighten nut. make sure it's dry first - silicone & water do not make a happy couple

Drain the cooling system & remove cooling fan. Loosen the pump pulley bolts & remove aux. drive belt. Remove the pulley bolts/nuts & pulley. Remove pump bolts. If pump is tight, install 2 M6 bolts into jacking holes and push pump out. Save the seal O-ring for new pump. Reverse for install.
