I have a Speed Queen AWM373W top loader with the same problem. We recently had the kit and belt replaced because it was leaking water. That is fixed now but it takes forever. The other night I tutned the drum by hand and it worked fine. Did not had the same problem since but I am watching it.

Dishwashers usually run on 115-volt or 120-volt power. The water they use comes directly from the water heater, and wastewater is drained into the sink's drainpipe. The dishwasher is not connected to the cold-water supply. For best dishwashing results, set the temperature control of the water heater to no less than 140 degrees Farenheit. Water cooler than this usually doesn't get the dishes clean, unless your dishwasher is a newer model that preheats incoming water. The water shutoff for the dishwasher is typically located below the adjoining sink.

If the washer won't finish a spin cycle, it probably means that your timer went bad or stalled. You can take the control panel off and look at the contacts for scorching or corrosion.

hi there,
make sure that the program is not on the "Intermittent Agitate Program". that would be the cause of the delay.
the other issue would be the timer itself. the timer is mechanical, so once the contact on it is corroded, it will only function intermitently or not at all.
please let me know if i can be of more help.
thanks
