This post is over the top wild
first off that is an ISP cable modem it is not a router at all
so did you lose your router ?
hyjacker why not rTM first.
read the manual see what yours does.
and no country told by you and guess what they are not all the same.
sorry
did you know most routers now ended WPS and or PIN number usage due to gross security problems using that. so on best made routers, (or AP) we have none at all nor ever want one again .
set your SSID name.
set it to WPA2
and set your passphrase.
and do that correctly end this.
here is my USA answer on RTM
1602 ,1602a or 1602G? or what?
here is the 1602a (it is a modem)
https://arris.secure.force.com/consumers/ConsumerProductDetail?p=a0ha000000RpkogAAB&c=Touchstone#panel3
form the rear of the modem is the 1 ethernet jack there
this jack is wired to your missing? ROUTER>
then get the manual on your secret router
read it and set SSID, WPA2 and PW.
or use WPS button (ROUTER) if brave or love risk.
From a quick look at the specifications, it does not appear that that model offers built in WiFi; thus it would not have a WPS button. In addition, I would caution you against using/enabling WPS on any device, as that protocol has been compromised.
As for solution and recommendations -
Obtain a different model from your service provider with the features you require, or obtain an off the shelf WiFi-capable router from an electronics department. This modem would be able to connect to only a single device without the addition of a router; perhaps that fills your needs but I suspect you will want more than that.
If you choose to obtain a router, you will still likely not have a WPS button - because of the security concerns most if not all of them are off the market. No worries though, many manufacturers offer very simple setup alternatives to WPS - sans the known security risk.
Hope that helps you out!
