Switches don't need any configuration whatsoever. So this should work without any trouble.

SOURCE: disable Nat TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND

yeap it should be the firewall, here is the manual http://www.tp-link.com/resources/software/201161017075118.pdf
think this should help you.
But if you want my expertise, make the tp-link as a router and vdsl just the internet line. connect it to router wan and buy a switch for all your devices. That should be the safest and smartest way.

Testimonial: "Hi, I've finally found some time to test the dissabling the FW and I can say that in my case it helped. I can see now from TP-LINK IP cameras connected to the VDSL modem/router. Well done guys, thank you for your help. Kvinar"

Need some troubleshooting tips on a fireplace. I've got the pilot on but when I flip the wall switch nothing happens.

Most of these unit are controlled with a millivolt signal that is generated from the thermopile.
We see this often at the beginning of the year.
Remove the wires from you wall switch and clean them so you have new metal showing and tighten them back to the wall switch.

With your gas valve in the on position try the switch.

If this doe not work do the same thing to the wires on the gas valve where they hook to the TP/TH connecting and the Th connection.

What thermostat will work for my gas fireplace?modelwh060396b 07/2006 has remote want a wall mount

A search for that model number did not yield any results. A brand name would help.
That said, if your gas fireplace has a milivolt valve with "TH" and "TP/TH" terminals on the side (for hooking up a remote, thermostat, or switch), then you can use a universal wireless wall system.
You can find wireless wall systems for gas fireplaces HERE.

No light only power light is on...

First, did you pay the bill? Unplug the IPS modem, remove battery, if applicable, unplug TP Link, shut down computer. Ckeck ALL cables reseat, Replace battery, plug in ISP modem, allow it to selftest, plug in TP Link, allow it to selftest, Reboot computer. If you connect ISP Modem directly to PC and it doesn't ID your IP address use this: http://helpdeskgeek.com/networking/release-and-renew-an-ip-address/ To assist you. If this doesn't work contact your ISP provider . Try another Wireless Access Point. My ISP, Xfinity, drops from time to time , for no appearent reason, due to a number of outside difficulties.

Cant start gas fireplace

  • Find the remote's receiver under the fireplace.
  • There should be a switch to change from "remote" to "ON".
  • Turn the switch to "ON", if the fireplace ignites, you may need to re synchronize your remote. If it does not, your remote control may be bad.
  • Bypass the remote to ensure your fireplace is operational by connecting the "TH" and "TP/TH" terminals on the valve with a wire or paperclip. If the fireplace lights up fine, then it is for sure a bad remote.
  • Universal gas fireplace remotes can be found HERE.

Help troubleshooting an FMI GL-850E Gas Fireplace

It sounds like the Ignition Control Module went out, as I've heard the vibrating noise you speak of just before the module "dies." You most likely have the gray Robertshaw control module box located under the fireplace connecting the power to the gas valve. You will need to have a Certified Gas Fireplace Specialist look into this issue and replace, if necessary.
