LG LMX21981st Getting power on off at house and fridge does not reset instead eor code shows up and fridge goes int defrost mode

most of the newer fridges do come out with an electronic circuit board in the back but that dosent mean the board is bad...there is a three prong adaptler that hooks to your compressor that may have gone bad thus the error colde and the non cooling.its about a 15.00 part and easy to replace and it will be the only plug on the compressor.all it does is unplug and you put the new one in in its place...this relay helps control temp and the compressor and one other thing i cant remember right off.in any event i think it will take car of the problem

i had the same problem.
connect the monitor with the analog cable and shut down your pc.
while it is off unplag the analog cable and place the digital one(dvi).
this should fix your problem m8 ;)

could be the thermostat is it on ? compressor could be out u need service find some coolers to save the frozen food. Tom
