I seem to be having the same issue with a Maytag refrigerator model M1TXEGMYS01. I would like to thoroughly clean all shelves of this new-to-is refrigerator but I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the glass from the plastic housing. I was able to take the end and central brackets off (that hold the drawers) but I can’t figure the rest of it out... and the manual I looked up didn’t provide any information on separating the housing either. Please see pic attached. Thanks in advance!

First try removing as described by your manual (See below).

The glass may be stuck in the track. Small amounts of liquid may "glue" the glass to track.warm up the compartment by shutting power off and leaving door open. Use a round ended thin spreading knife. Wet it with warm water and try to slide it between the glass and the track. Work it along the crack until they separate with a gentle wiggle.

From the owners manual
Important information to know about glass shelves and covers: Do not clean glass shelves or covers with warm water when they are cold. Shelves and covers may break if exposed to sudden temperature changes or impact, such as bumping. Tempered glass is designed to shatter into many small, pebble-size pieces. This is normal. Glass shelves and covers are heavy. Use both hands when removing them to avoid dropping.

Refrigerator Shelves The shelves in your refrigerator are adjustable to match your individual storage needs. Glass Shelves To remove a shelf: 1. Remove items from the shelf. 2. Slide the shelf straight out to the stop. 3. Depending on your model, lift the back or front of the shelf past the stop. Pull the shelf out the rest of the way. To replace a shelf: 1. Slide the back of the shelf into the track in the wall of the cabinet. 2. Guide the front of the shelf into the shelf track. Be sure to slide the shelf in all the way.

How can a 13 year old sub-frame, have rusted out?
You could remove it,media blast it,and cut out rusted sections and weld in new.
You could get a used one from a salvage yard.

SOURCE: 2 of the bolt on

I don't quite understand what sheared off, but all brackets come off the engine. If your bracket is bad, I recommend you get a used one at a wrecking yard. They will have lots of them.
If a bolt is sheared off, did it leave a part behind in the pump? If yes, it will have to be drilled out. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Why does the washer basket tilt to the side

Had a similar problem, this might be the solution.

Unplug the washer, remove the two screws that hold the control panel to the top. Tilt the panel back, remove the plug going to the top and the two clips that secure the back to the case. Tip the case forward to release it from the front edge of the bottom frame and set it aside. From the front, you should see two springs attaching the bottom of the tub to the lower frame. The tub end of the spring is attached to a bracket that is screwed into the tub. In my case, the screw holding the bracket to the tub had vibrated loose, causing the centering effect to be lost. There is a third spring in the back if those two are intact.

Replace the bracket and screw, and you should be back in business. Best of all, it only takes time.

Can i take apart the door shelves of my subzero for cleaning

You can take them off the door by lifting up and out at an angle but do not try to disassemble them. You can soak them in hot water to try and get rid of spills in the seams.

Bracket holding glass over fruit / veg compartment broke

I am now looking for some sort of support for the whole shelf, because it still seems to be sagging. I may have to invent something. If anyone out there has a solution, please post it.

Maytag Elevator Shelf

Let me just say, your post helped me, because I realized that I was not going crazy.  But, I was able to find the manual on this frigerator, which was key.  There was one phrase in the manual that gave me help - "when the glass shelf is pushed to the rear, it will align the rear latches.
Manual from whirlpool website: http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/MSB2154ARA.pdf

So, the rear latches must be installed in such a way that the sliding glass shelf not only touches them, but pushes them into the correct position.
This fact helped me to try different positions, each time testing to see if the glass shelf would do anything.  Finally, I realized that there is a triangular shaped part of the rear latch.  The hypotenuse of the triangle is what comes into contact with the little nub on the underside of the glass shelf.  The nub on the glass shelf pushes the rear latch along the hypotenuse of the right triangle, and into the correct position.
Here is a picture of it installed in my frigerator, which I am sure will tell it better than any words:

Maytag electric range door handle (how to replace?)

The above solution is fine, but you don't have to remove the door.  Open the storage drawer for access to the trim screws (3) on the bottom of the door, remove the screws.  Have a helper hold the glass along the bottom. Take the three screws on the top of the door trim out.  Slide out the glass and put in a safe place.  Remove the four screws that hold the handle brackets in place, remove the handle (or tighten if loose). Install the new handle (one screw on each side).  Reinstall all parts in the reverse order of disassembly.  The entire job took less than 30 minutes.
