SOURCE: siemens hydrosensor dishwasher SE25A091GB/22

Paul

If you are still trying to sort out this issue try the following.

From what you say then it is most likely the aqua sensor on the side of the dishwasher. The gurgling sounds that you hear are likely the drain pump running and the un-drainable water sloshing in the sump.

Verify that there is actually water going to the dishwasher( Basic step but often overlooked)

Next the inlet valve will have to be checked. This is the part where the water line from the house connects to the dishwasher, under the toe/kick panel. Remove power from the dishwasher. Disconnect the dishwasher electrical connections (2 wires) to the inlet valve and connect it (carefully to 110 V power) using a jumper wire. With 110V power the valve should open and water will flow into the dishwasher, if not then the fault is in the inlet valve.

If this checks fine then the fault is likely in the aqua sensor...

On the outer left side (viewed from front) there is a panel, Behind this panel there is a small clear(of light blue) plastic mechanism with hoses and wires attached( There is usually a yellow disk at the top about 6cm in diameter) this is a float and sensor assembly there is tells the control the water level and works as an emergency drain if there is an issue. There will be a red stick protruding downward to the base and a Styrofoam float on which the stick rests. This is a pan overflow sensor if the stick is too high the unit will go into drain and cut off the fill valve power. The yellow disk is a diaphragm which senses water height. This unit can become stuck with wear and hard water.

SOURCE: dishwasher not emptying at the end of its cycle.

Not sure of your light indicator; check the manual. But fyi there should be a little water left in, so the rubber seal doesn't dry out. More than that, and could be clogged drain or bad solenoid, which tells it to open and drain. See: http://www.partselect.com/repair.aspx?appliance=dishwasher&part=water-wont-drain

We have a Siemens dishwasherSN66T091GB. The unit is not showing a fault code but the 'tap' light and 'rinse aid' lights are flashing continuously.

Tap symbol indicates a water problem.

Check that the water supply to the dishwasher has been turned on.

Check that the water supply hose hasn't bent or kinked.

Check the water supply first, see what you find.

Rinse Aid symbol light indicates low on rinse additive.

Hope this helps?

Error code E:14 Siemens Dishwasher - stops after 1 min of cycle

It might be helpful if you provide the full model number of the Siemens dishwasher. Most likely E14 error has something to do with water flow sensing. Check if your mains water pressure is ok (tap under sink is fully open). But can provide more details only if you can tell me the model number.

Flashing but nothing happening

A-- If you hear the water filling for 3 minutes before the lights flash, 2 things could be happening:
a.1) water never reached the proper fill/run level so the computer prevents the heater from starting and alerts the user. There should be a code list in the troubleshooting section of the user manual describing the blinking lights and what they mean.
Solution- verify by sound if water flows at the same rate as the sink tap, if not then shut off the water and check the inside the connection hose for debris against the screen inside the hose end or insid ethe machine end where there is a intake valve. The debris keeps sediment out so it works but there's no auto cleaner for the screen.
a.2) Otherwise the heater itself is faulty meaning it does not conduct an electrical path or maybe overheating (could be dry) and the computer senses the wrong temperature either too high or too low.
Solution- A service call to determine the reason why; heater continuity, water valve, heater relay, hi-temp fuse, etc.

B-- Now, if you do NOT hear water filling for those first 3 minutes, 3 things could be happening;
b.1) House water supply is turned off.
b.2) hose is clogged (see solution a.1 above)
b.3) Drain pump inside dishwasher was clogged during the last run and old water didn't drain out (maybe some water is evident in the tub bottom).
Solution- Most dishwashers start each wash cycle with 30 second drain pump running to make sure the tub is completely emptied so the next fill cycle can't overfill. This ensures that if the user finds a 3 liter pot that flipped over during the last wash and if they dump that full pot of water into the unit to make it lighter, that the water will get drained before the new water enters the tub.
If the drain pump is clogged reset the power and restart the wash cycle. Note how much water is in the tub and see if it goes down any during those 30 seconds by opening the door afterwards. Find the clog either a bone or plastic bag or some small pice of a childs toy is stuck in the drain pump or the other end is clogged maybe by grease or bones if you have a sink disposal unit. The things they grind up drop into the drain 1" inch above the hole for the dishwasher drain tube.
NOTE: There is also an overfill [float] switch if the water inlet valve gets stuck open and the water keeps filling, the drain pump is switched on until someone comes and shuts off the water supply. When the tub drains the float drops and the drainpump stops. This will also make lights blink so check the user manual for codes or call the factory service reps [1-877-337-3639].
Either way, there should be instructions to reset the machine for restart. If it doesn't reset you need someone to fix the control that tripped the unit, maybe a safety fuse or a broken piece of the puzzle.

Hi, I installed LG dishwasher, control board is working, water is coming from the water line but when hooked up to the dishwasher and dishwasher is on, there is no water coming into the dishwasher....

it should drain a bit of water out before it fills when it first starts. if that water doesn't drain out then you may have a drain pump fault. You can test this by dumping a few glasses of water into the machine then starting it up ( you should hear it drain that water out)
if that worked... then you have a fill solenoid fault or a line filter fault. You can check power to the fill solenoid or give it a couple of taps when its suppose to be filling to see if its just stuck. the inline filter could be plugged where you hook up the water supply to the machine (clean it or take it right out)

Dishwasher keeps running

I have seen this several times, and all of the times it has a bad control board. usually if you take the control board out, you can see a visibly burnt spot on the back of it wher a connection has melted. Another possible slowrun time problem could be that the water coming into the dishwasher when it fills is not hot. If it isnt hot, it takes the dishwasher longer to heat the water to temp, and therfore it runs longer. Is the water coming out of your tap reasonably hot? if not you may need to turn up your water heater settings. But if nobody has messed with the water heater, or the tap where the dishwasher is attached and the problem just started then thats probably not it. Good Luck!
