You need a card reader that you plug into usb port of computer then put 64 Gb microSd into reader device. go to file explorer find drive thAt represents drive. possibly D: or E: right click on drive icon with mouse then move mouse to format about half way down second item down is shown as file type change this to fat32 click click on start at bottom of format window

Hello there. you will most likely have to buy a disk utility like partition magic, or some such. if you go to softpedia .com there should be some good free/shareware programs there.

These are actually ccore flash drives, shipped with the name "Kingston". YOU CAN FORMAT ANY ZIP DRIVE WITH "HP USB DISK STORAGE FORMAT TOOL". Trust me, it really does the needful. I had the same problem earlier =)

Its not possible because of the file system type you are trying to format it with can't support regular fat. You need to drop to some lower operating systems, which would still make it hard to do. I suggest not trying to go back so far, or at least try going to an earlier operating system, and use fat16 or fat12, at least with these you can find boot disks, like from here. http://www.bootdisk.com/
