SOURCE: Optima G2430 Miele dishwasher with intake/drain flashing light

Hi,
F13 is an inlet fault.
First the unit drains and then fills with water. When the unit has intially drained open the door and manually fill the unit with water, about 5lts. This will then allow the dishwasher to go to the next step which is to circulate the water. If this works ok then the water tap is defective, water inlet valve is defective or the electronic unit is not sending the signal to activate the valve. The water inlet valve is the white square box attached to the tap. Remove this and check the filter and make sure water comes out of the tap.If ok then remove the bottom panel of the unit under the door. On the right hand side there is a 2 core cable with a male and female connector. Unplug this and check for voltage from the electronic when the unit goes to fill with water. If there is 240v then the electronic is ok. You will then need a new waterproof system from Miele.

SOURCE: looking for answer to error code F5 on Whirlpool Dishwasher ADG 8200

Fault Code F5 or Five Flashes
Cause: Spray arms are blocked/clogged or otherwise malfunctioning.
Action: Spray arms are easily removed so take them out of the dishwasher and wash in the sink to clear out any gunk (using descaler should help shift any stubborn debris). Whilst doing this run the dishwasher on a short program without the spray arms to clear any further blockages.

SOURCE: Westinghouse 905 dishwasher is not heating water and does not always completely drain at end of cycle

Not heating. Al all? Check the elements (with a meter with the dishwasher UNPLUGGED). Check the thermostat. That's the part that switches off the power to the element when the water reaches wash temperature. Its the shiny circular thing mounted in a rubber grommet to the front right of the inside of the dishwasher.
Re the not emptying:
Dishwashers have a motor that drives everything. It turns one way to wash and reverses to empty the dishwasher. The motor is under the dishwasher but the impeller (pump) is inside, so the motor shaft goes through the base. There is a seal on the motor shaft. This seal must be kept wet to stop it drying out, shrinking and leaking. So all dishwashers are designed to leave some water in the base - to keep that seal wet.
Besides, there will always be water in the outlet pipe that runs back into the dishwasher when the pump stops.

Oe code. Will not drain. Steps to fix?

Hi

OE in your dishwasher is a drain error and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. If the issue returns after cleaning then the drain pump assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

How do i fix an F5 error code on a Fisher & Paykel Dishdraw DS605. I have turned the power off but the error keeps returning?

I am assuming you have the DD605 double drawer dishwasher. Is the problem F5 on both drawers or just one?

F5 code involves the drawer lid seal and will need a bit of effort to check and fix.

Take the drawer out and inspect the inside of the top panel for a black rubber strip. If it is broken or not responding to up down movement then it needs to be replaced. In addition the actuator motors on each side that drive the seal could be faulty.

If you are not comfortable with repairing slightly complex apliances then you may have to call the technician.

Water not drainiNg after completion of cycle

Hi,
Check for any kinked hoses and check the drain spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects into the u bend. Usually this is where food gets trapped due to the spigot not being drilled out large enough. This then causes a blockage. Also check the non return valve under the filter and make sure the drain pump can turn freely. This should solve the draining issue.
As for the dishes not being cleaned on the top drawer check the holes on the top spray arm. If the holes are blocked up with food you will get poor wash results. Best way to clean the spray arm is to remove it by unscrewing it and giving it a good clean under the tap and poking the holes to clear any blockages.
Hope this helps
