I recently bought a used tv. It worked fine for about a day. After connecting tv to wifi and starting but not finishing agreeing to terms of use then turning the tv off now i have a bootloop issue and cannot control the tv with remotes or the physical button on the tv, except for the power button and command to enter service menu but cannot control tv in service menu either. Seems to be a software issue, ive tried discharging extra power but still no luck. Trying to restore settings to default to remove software impediments.

I made mine work by using programing the vcr button as opposed to the tv.

According to Sony, if you turn the power on and hold the Enter key and the #1 key down together for at least 3 seconds, everything will default back to factory settings.

SOURCE: Samsung 32 inch remote control problem
I had a similar problem. Take the batteries out of the remote, press down on the number 5 for about two minutes the put the batteries back in. This worked for me.
(I got this tip from a telesales advisor. I was close to buying a replacement remote but this tip worked. Hope it does for you. I'm not sure on the science part of it but it basically resets the remote. Good luck)

With a non responsive remote that would be inpossiable you need to replace the control board inside around $100 bucks then you can have a good tv again but to get to the service menu your controll has to be working.
