if it has a carb and is a two stroke check the gap on your spark plug and make sure your main jet is adjusted right. but it sounds like your sled is running to rich. look at the end of your spark plug, if it is black you are running to rick but if it is kind of a white color it is to lean. it should be pretty close to tan.

I have replaced the reverse button that is designed to make the engine running backwards that's causing the sled to go into reverse. It doesn't seem that there is any voltage to either one of the wires. My understanding is that there is no fusible link or anything like that. It's supposed to be just a signal
