As i told you already This model has no front camera, therefore it cannot take "Selfies". Use a tripod or similar stand with a camera app which has a self timer function.

I have the coolpix s33. On the top of the view screen there is a flashing red square with a clock What is this representing and how do I remove it

The camera has a 10 second self timer. usually when you want to use it.. It only works for one image so you have to set it up for self timer again. On the back you may be able to set the camera to use the self timer. The only ICON I know of in most cameras that has a clock is the self timer.

Say camera is in Tripod and you want to take a group shot and YOU want to be in the photo. You set up and put on Self Timer. You press the shutter and it will take 10 seconds before taking the photo... Enough time for YOU to get int he shot.

I was taking a photo with the self-timer, and now it's stuck on self-timer. Except it won't take photos or anything. It's just stuck.

Maybe you need to bring it back for servicing as the shutter might be jammed. I guess it will still be able to take videos without any problems right?

It may or may not also now have a bad resistor near the chips 10% chance.

Common in this set and can be a do it your self repair--I am willing to assist if you want that kind of help.

Look at the photos and let me know if questions.

Chips look like this but may have stk-392-150 (same part) on them.

Total parts cost (can tell here where) is under 30 dollars.

All i want to know is if the canon a620 can be set to take a photo on its own without pressing the button to snap the photo....i want to take 'certain' photos of myself and no one to take...

No, you have to press the shutter release button to take the picture.
Press the FUNC/SET button. Use up/down to select Drive Mode (the rectangle, third item from the top). Use left/right to select the desired delay and press FUNC/SET. This sets the self-timer. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button as usual.

I have a green OK on but It will not print, will not run a test page and the error message is no help either - what should I do? besides wanting to throw it out the window?

Hello, have you tried a self-test print? which is one initiated at the printer, NOT through the computer.
If you don't know how to perform one, try pasting the link below into your web browser and having a look at the info from the Epso website.
http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-Photo-R1800/Drivers-Support?target=article&extn=.html&articleId=1365

If you can prove the printer self-test works, then your problem's maybe on the computer side of things; maybe even a driver. If the printer self-test (NOT to be confused with the Windows self-test) DOESN'T work, then take a look at the faq's on the Epson website under 'drivers and support' as below.
http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-Photo-R1800/Drivers-Support

Hope this helps!
Kind regards,

When trying to print my photos on my Epson Photo R200 the images that are printed are varying shades of green and not the colours supposed to be printed. I am using a good quality gloss photo paper. Couls...

Most ink jet printers have a self cleaning you can do.
The fact that you're getting shades of green usually indicate that the red is not printing properly.

Self cleaning should take care of it

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO USE TIMER ON CAMERA SO I CAN INCLUED MYSELF IN PHOTO.

There is a self-timer option in most cameras. Go to menu and you should be able to find it. The user manual that came with the camera should mention it. Go into self timer and set the number of minutes to delay so that you can have enough time to include yourself in the photo. Unfortunately you have not specified the make and model of your camera.

Hope this helps !!!

How to operate Self timer in D70s

Ok, you need to hold down the multi frame button on the top left of the back of the camera, then turn the dial (front I think) till it shows the little clock timer on the screen. It will give you a 10 second timer.
