SOURCE: drying

The E10 error code means - not filling water.
The problem could be because of clogged filters on the water inlet line or a malfunction inlet valve.
Also there is still some water inside accumulated so please do check the filter for blockages. To avoid other errors check the outlet valve and the filter as a precaution.
Good luck with the machine. Please do rate my solution. Also do post comments for further help if needed.

The Water Supply Tap is closed. The Water Supply is shut off. The Inlet Hose is kinked. The Water Pressure is very low. (below 10 psi) Inlet Valve is OK? The filter of Inlet Valve is clogged by impure water. The Hall sensor is OK? The Impeller of Air Guide is bound
Measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 ) Clean the filter of Inlet Valve. Check the frequency of Inlet Water by the Test Mode. Replace the Air Braker.

SOURCE: Dryer makes a loud squealing when first started

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS
Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication, or maybe your belt has slipped off of the idler arm pulley.
If you have a front loading machine, Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer. Be REAL CAREFUL not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch. Then remove the top of the dryer. Remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt. Remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm pulley and motor. Now is a good time to check the belt to see if it has slipped off of the idler arm pulley and also to check the belt condition for wear. Be sure to note the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt. Check your drum rollers for flat spots or wear, if they have flat spots or wear on them replace them. If the drum rollers don't have flat spots or wear on them then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve your noise problem. I will include these two websites for parts and further help: http://www.partselect.com/ http://www.appliancepartspros.com/index.aspx Both also have chat assistance 24/7. I have an Amana NED7200TW dryer that is approx. 2 1/2 years old and am having issues. The first sign of a problem was it would not come back on after running a 40-50 minute cycle. Nothing would come on,...

Open the cabinet and look for lint buildup around the motor. Lint will act like a blanket and hold to heat in on the motor which in turn will cause it to shut down by way of it's safety mechanism. Check that out and post back your findings.

I have the heavy duty 4 cycle Amana dryer. When I turn it on it is very loud and stops after about 20 minutes. It smells really hot so maybe it's overheating? But why?

sounds like motor bearings are failing. causes motor to overheat and cut out on motor protector. I'm afraid a new motor is in order.

Dryer stuck

If it is the timer thats not shutting itself off ,than check the following below
First off turn dryer ON and make sure there are no kinks in vent tube thats attached on back of dryer.2nd,find the outside vent opening and feel for strong air flow.If you have any doubt that its not strong enough then, pull dryer away from wall....pull the vent hose off the dryer ,.....now dry 1 load on a 50-60 minute Timed Dry Cycle. If all goes well, you now know your venting has to be cleaned out.(The only 1out of 1,000 other thing to check is your lint screen ,make sure you can see light through it.) 3rd and final , is if after running for 60 minutes with vent un hooked and still it is not drying competly, than you have to replace the Split coils on the burner,I really can doubt that you have a thermostat out.If you need to know the stats of the Split Coil to Thermostat ratio my experience is 250 Split Coils replaced to just 1 thermostat. E-2 error code on whirlpool duet dryer

“E2” flashes if the thermistor has shorted.

The thermistor monitors the exhaust temperature
and cycles the high-limit thermostat on
and off to maintain the desired temperature.
1. Turn the dryer off but keep the electrical
supply connected.
2. Make sure that the dryer is empty and that
the lint screen is clean.
3. Close the dryer door.
4. Select Heavy Duty, Timed Dry, More Time
or Less Time, End of Cycle Signal (Louder)
and Start.
5. If error codes E1 or E2 flash on the display
after 1 minute and the dryer turns off,
the thermistor, or the wire harness, is either
shorted or open. Check the wire connections
at the thermistor or the machine
control electronics board. If wiring checks
okay, replace the thermistor.
6. If the dryer seems to operate normally, remove
the exhaust vent and start the dryer.
7. Select the desired temperature cycle to be
tested, and select 20 minutes of Timed Dry
heat using the More Time or Less Time
pushbuttons.
