I bought a Pyle PLTS78DUB. works well but every now and then the screen seems to reboot itself. The time and programmed channels stay. Is this normal and if not what can I do to fix it.

the problem is with the control panel of your tv...make sure your remote doesnt have any part in this...just remove and the batteries and check if the channels still are changing.....see if the onboard switch for channel changing is stuck ?..if stuck u can use homemade tools to pull it back......if your tv is within your gurantee period...just giv a call to customer care....if not u can take it to a local repair shop...there is nothin that u can urself do to make it right ...sorry....for further info contact at

its mostly a virus problem.  try any online scan or reinstall the operating system

Hold the "#" and "6" key down as it reboots. This is the equiv to a cold reset.

The main system memory IC to your TV is faulty. It should be replaced. It is a very small IC, having 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control IC.

If you are still looking for or current looking for the remote wire. This model has a blue wired that should be labeled power antenna this is the remote turn on wire. This is what you need to run remote power to your amplifier.
