Hi,
Do you have a CRT monitor?
Have you tried to adjust the color on the monitor?
How is it connected to your computer?
It sound like one of the guns on you monitor died. But there is some testing you should do first.
If it is a CRT monitor and it is connect your computer properly.
First thing to do would be to replace the cable and or try a different
monitor that you know works.
To confirm try adjusting the color. If that does not work, if it
more purplish it is the green gun, if it is orangish it is the Blue
gun. That would be cause by a failed gun or driver.
If the gun is gone it is best to get a new one. It will save you money in the long run.
Thank you...

Either your monitor or the video card inside the computer is going bad. To isolate the problem connect another monitor to the computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays ok that means your video card is ok, but your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same blue shade then your video card inside the computer is bad.
