I have a ryobi p118 tool charger. It stopped working and no lights came on when plugged in without battery. I looked inside and a fuse was blown by the supply. Doesn't seem to be any lose pieces or burned marks so I replaced the fuse with the same specs w/ time delay, brushed off the board and it blew again. Not sure what would cause this. Any ideas?

The fuse is to protect charger. If the fuse has blown then you have other problems. I would buy a new one $24.00 on Amazon.

SOURCE: Hotpoint WD51 fuse issue

is it the motor that got hot?, if so then check the motor carbons for wear, as these heat up when worn, also if the carbons are fine check the pump and filters for blockages, this makes the motor spin while water is still in the machine causing the motor to overheat, and subsequently tripping and blowing the fuses etc hope i have helped a little

SOURCE: reverse lights fuse blew

hi
check the wire because if the fuse keep blowing there's a wire somewhere on the car that has contact with the frame so everytime you put your car on reverse the 12V wire shortcut on the frame so the fuse blow check all your positive wire and your bulb as well
Good luck

Ryob1 Intelliport 18v P118 battery charger - no lights any more. Worked one day and next nothing? Is there a fuse inside?

Beware there Is no fuse inside for repairing used only for fire safety used, on marketing technical base there are no wiring diagrams beware of ordering a separate print of the charger can often be more expensive than a whole new charger and also look first for the option on warranty. powercord problems can a problem but the li-ion chargers are build up mostly with smd components and if damaged there is no support to repair for novice to refurbish.

Green light on new Ryobi charger flashing when trying to charge battery it that normal

Yes, the green light flashes until the battery is fully charged on Ryobi chargers. This will change to a solid green light when the battery is fully charged until the charger goes to a power-saving mode. Not all of the Ryobi chargers have a power-saving mode. However, for those that do, the green led will dim over time and then brighten and dim slowly again in this mode.

My Ryobi charger, model P113, actually has a key for the LEDs on the unit on the left of the battery port. The manual for this charger is here: https://manuals.ttigroupna.com/system/files/5495/original/P113_192_trilingual.pdf?2011 . Ryobi has many of their manuals on their site. Look up your charger/tool here: https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/manuals , Home Depot's web site also has many of these manuals on the product site for the tools that they sell.

I hope this helps.

After looking at the manual for your charger, it looks like most of the Ryobi chargers like the P113, P114, P117, P118 will charge your battery. The connector on the battery looks the same as the P103 and P104 used here in the U.S.

19.2 volt lithium ion battery

I can answer questions about this charger, but you have not posted a question. Basically if you get a red light when plugged in, it may be functional. You won't know until you try charging a known good battery. You should be able to charge both NiCd and Lithium Ion batteries. If no red light appears when plugged in, a component has failed on the inside. These can only be repaired by a skilled technician with solid state component knowledge and soldering skills. The case is held together by four T20 anti-tamper screws under the four rubber feet. Do not apply power with the cover opened.
Common problems are shorted power rectifier diodes, shorted movistor and opened fuse. If the fuse is not blown check the filter caps by shorting across their leads with a screwdriver. If you can an arc, after the charger has been unplugged for a few minutes, it means the switching regulator has failed. Usually this is a TOP256EN. If it has burned and blew a piece off the regulator, the transformer has probably shorted. If the regulator looks OK, it may work after replacing it. There are many more possibilities, but these are some basics. BTW, this is exactly the same as a Ryobi P113 on the inside except for the battery terminals and the board layout. They have the same components.

My dewalt radio stopped working. I plugged it in, no power. I charged the battery and put the battery in and no power ?

Check fuses inside. Check fuse and connections in plug. If this is a 110v radio there is one on transformer winding.
