maybe the push ejection got the problem. it must be stuck inside. go to your nearest technician. they have tools. so that they will help you fix the motor inside your dvd recorder. just always put a cd or dvd with correct size and weight. hope that helps!

Depending on the type of football game it is, the software is seeing some sort of copyright on it. If it is from the NFL, then you won't be able to put that video on DVD.

I was getting the blue screen and open, then a black screen after loading the disk. If you have the AV switch in the wrong position, it will do the same thing. My kids must have moved it on me.

This could be caused by loose tape connector or faulty volume adjuster. First try playing a standard cd, then dvd, and finally a bootleg dvd because they create a lot problems for these smaller units. It would seem that you may need to open the unit inorder to find out what the problem is. If you do please becareful and take notes because you will have to put it back together.
