SOURCE: I need a manual for the Optisan star 70060 telescope

You will not find a manual for many of the smaller telescope brands-- however Meade maintains a web site for all of their manuals. Go there and find one that is similar to your style of telescope and down load it for free.

http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.html

Also try to find a local Astronomy Club and attend their star parties.

SOURCE: I desperately need user manual for Optisan star 70060 telescope

Most of these small telescopes assemble exactly alike--

Here is Meade's telescope manual web site-- look around under Refractors and Reflectors for one that is similar to your telescope..... it should help you.

SOURCE: no manual for telescope

You will not find a manual for this telescope. It is imported from overseas,

Here is a PICTURE of the telescope setup-
http://www.binoculars-uk.co.uk/acatalog/Farvision_300_70_series.html

This is a very small refractor style telescope. The 60mm aperture is about the same size as a pair of 10x50mm binoculars. The binoculars would have been better for Astronomy than the small scope, since the binoculars have a wider field of view.

SOURCE: i was given an outdoor

Sorry no instruction for that exact telescope-- However you can find instructions for a similar 60mm refractor telescope on the Meade web site-- they all work in a similar fashion.

Look under the REFRACTOR heading for one that is similar to your telescope.

One of the best places to start online would be : http://www.telescope.com/

You can google for it and putting your location in your search.

My AZ1 reflector view is upside down. Is this right?

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images. For terrestrial viewing you can buy an erecting diagonal--

Hello there. just a question about my telescope. it looks like the baska . all it has is a model number 70060. view finder is upside down ( apparently that is normal). but when i look through the main...

You are using an erecting diagonal mirror between eyepiece and the scope. This flips the image (normally inverted as you realise) upright, but does not correct the reversal from side to side. These are often supplied with astronomical scopes more for ease of looking through the scope without craning one's neck upwards, rather than for the purpose of erecting the image.

There are other types of erectors that will fully erect the image if it bothers you, but astronomical telescopes normally are used without concern for such conventions, as the erecting lenses or prisms absorb light and introduce aberrations or reflections. If you wish to use the telescope for terrestrial work, you would probably be better off with a "spotting scope" which will be fully corrected for image orientation.

I need a danish manual for the enthusiast 70060

No manual is available for that small telescope. The manual only has assembly instructions. It does NOT tell you how to use the scope. Contact a local Astronomy club for assistance.
