Use the top button to adjust the current time & then push the bottom button once to save. Next is the time you want the lights to turn on & push bottom button once to save. The last setting is the time you want the lights to turn off. Don't forget to use the . (period) indicator for the pm setting. (I had the same problem and had to search the net to find someone else who had posted the instructions.)

This timer goes on at dusk automatically. You just push the button as many times as necessary until you get to the number which represents the hours you want it to remain on.

-Timer can be programmed for ON and OFF times, for Dawn-Dusk, for Countdown, for Daylight countdown, for daylight saving, and for Random. Each different programming option has 8-12 steps shown in manual.
