2nd. Try a different hdmi cable.
3rd. Connect the system to a different tv to make sure it is working on another tv.
If these do not work the issue is with game system.

there is no way to convert your antenna/cable wire to use either hdmi or dvi. you must use either a cable box or satellite reciever. on any new tv sold within the last year there is a " rf connector " where you would attach the antenna or cable wire. take a look at your owners manual to find out exactly where.

Something is wrong whith the HDMI jack it's self, or the electronic switching is not sensing a signal is present. In either case the board that has the HDMI jack you are using needs to be replaced. Most all these boards are double printed, Multi-layered or both which prevents replacing the jack it's self. I do have a question though, do you only have on HDMI jack on the unit or do you have another one available.

HI:
You need to replace the analog board assembly, this is the board that you plug connections into, seems the HDMI port has malfunctioned, there may also be a problem with the main board assembly that the analog board connects to.

You have settings in your TV and satellite receiver to set the resolution for the picture. I would first go into the TV settings and use 1080p for the TV resolution. Also, in the receiver setting, you have the HDTV setting. From the main menu, press 6 (System Setup) and then 8 (HDTV Setup). For TV Type change to 1080i. The Aspect Ratio should be 16:9. I hope this helps.
