Check your connections. 750W is about 7 amp at 110 V. It's going to try to draw 80 amps from the battery! Recommend you check voltage with a multi-meter - I made up a set of probes for my meter with needle points so I can go right through the insulation of the wire and check voltages. Looked at an on-line photo of the unit, and the clips (and wires) look light for carrying 80 amps.

SOURCE: I have a 1996 Isuzu

This may be caused by a bad Voltage Regulator in the alternator. It is quite possible that you have a faulty alternator. It seems that the regulator may be going in and out. I would have the alternator tested.

How do I make the inverter work on a 2017 holiday rambler vacationer 35k

An inverter changes 12vdc to ac. If it is 35 k it may be 35000watts. Therefore it needs that many watts or more to run it efficiently. Check with a manual for information on how many watts it needs. Most average homes need 10000watts or 10kilo-watts. If you are making DC Volts you need to hook up an AC LINE INTO YOUR VACATIONER and this will give you standard a.c. for refrigerator and overhead lighting. With that 35k watts if that is so you may need a 240 VOLT AC HOOK UP.. Some trailers use AC and some DC . Mine has an inverter but I think it uses120 volt AC . Some VACATION Homes have DC possibly 4 -12volt batteries or more but those batteries are each possibly 300 AMPS at. around 14.5 volts DC. Watts =VOLTS x AMPS . 14.5 X 300 = 4350 X 4 =17400 Watts or 17.4 k watts . 120 VAC input times 15 AMPS = 1800 watts standard a.c. But with 240VAC x 25AMPS = 6000 watts. Along with those 4 batteries it would have plenty of power to run it. If the Dc was hooked to an inverter it would produce a.c. Instead of DC. Inverters are all different so check the wattage being output and input.

I use a Salter AIRE elite nebulizer and I want to get a inverter to use in the car. How many watts do I need the inverter to be to run the nebulizer property

On the label underneath the unit there will be the details you need, for example if the voltage is 120V and the amps are 1.2A you multiply Volts X Amps = Watts, 120 X 1.2= 144 Watts.
So do the same for the values on your unit and get an inverter that can supply more than that value, I would go at least 15 Watts higher than you unit needs because you don't want to run the inverter at maximum all the time.

Motherboard, the inverter output voltage

Inverter output can vary, but anything greater than 150 volts with a high impedance meter (with a capacity of 2000 volts) can be considered good. The meter loads the circuit by itself and normally the RMS voltage that most meters register is lower than the peak to peak voltage of the circuit. If a scope is used, use a 10:1 reduction probe, and your voltages can be anywhere from 300 volts to 1200 volts with 650 to 750 being the normally accepted good range. Where your brightness control is set will have direct impact on the voltage you see.

Honda eu3000is generator surges

Inverter Generator Benefits
  • The EU3000 series generators are inverter generators. The generator features an alternator, which produced high-voltage, multi-phase AC power. This power is converted to DC power and then converted back to AC. This process is controlled by a microprocessor and is necessary to provide stable, consistent power capable of running equipment sensitive to power surges. This type of generator provides higher fuel efficiency and lower operational noise ratings in a lighter model than home and work generators produced by Honda.

EU3000i Handi Specifications
  • The Honda EU3000i Handi is a 3,000-watt inverter generator that features wheels, folding handle and a recessed convenience light. The engine is a Honda GX160, which features a 163-cc displacement. The AC output is 120 volts, with an average rating of 2,600 watts and a maximum production of 3,000 watts. There are three receptacles to include a 20A, 125-volt duplex and a 30A, 125-volt locking plug. The DC output is 12 volts and 100 watts. The EU3000i can hold 1.56 gallons of unleaded fuel, which will provide consumers with 3.6 hours of run time at 25 percent load for 7.7 hours.

What is the cprimary load on a 12volt to 240 volt 300watt inverter

Ohm's law tells us that: volts = amps x resistance and watts =volts x amps. Watts (300) = volts (240) x Amps (?); or 300 / 240 = 1.25 Amps That means the inverter can supply up to 1.25 Amps to a 240 volt load.

The primary is 12 volts, this is just 1/20th of the secondary 240 volt output. Since the best you can ever get is 100% efficiency -this means you'll need to supply 20 times the current. 1.25 Amps (at 240V) x 20 = 25 Amps (at 12V). As a check, from above Ohm's law that states Watts=Volts X Amps we get: 12VDC x 25Amps = 300Watts. Check!

Some side notes. The Ohms law used above is for DC circuits and purely resistive loads on AC circuits. I do not know what your 1.25 A @ 240VAC load is - but I suspect it won't be purely resistive. Also, since we're working with an electronic inverter as opposed to a transformer and DC rectifier there are some things that push losses higher. You might need to provide a 30 Amp 12 VDC source voltage in order to provide the 1.25A @ 240VAC output. Lastly, I wouldn't not run the output at maximum for long periods of time - or at all. 1 Amp @ 240VAC would be much better.

I hope this answered your question & good luck! Please rate my reply - thank you.

Why would my new 1500 watt inverter readout show overload 13.8 volts entering

It would show overload if you're drawing more power than it can supply. 1500 Watts is a very high output for an inverter but that is the maximum it's capable of. As with any electrical supply you should not draw the maximum power it's capable of as this can cause it to burn out. Around 1200 would be the max you should draw continuously. You need to check the power requirements of whatever you're running on it. Also you need to check that it's capable of taking 13.8 volts. If 12 volts is the recommended input, putting in 13.8 will increase the voltage output which could damage appliances being run on it.

When I switch the power on the inverter, it squeals briefly and then shuts down.

Two possible problems; input voltage too low, or the output load too high. If input remains at 12v or higher and it shuts off with no load, then the inverter is bad.

Output voltage unable to get above 90 V AC on battery tried on running car and only got 90 Volt AC also.

With the car voltage at 13.8V and you have less then a 400 Watt load the inverter is probably bad. The output voltage is not adjustable by the user.
Good Luck,
