SOURCE: Akai TV - Stuck in Hotel Mode

M (menu) 7935 (regular menu appears), them press 4725 (menu service appears), then search HTLSRC (position 090), then set value 032 (this value disables Hotel Mode) - TV. Now Hotel Mode is deactivated. It is verified!

M 7935 4725, go to HTLSRC (090), fix 032 - press TV. Good luck!

SOURCE: 32lc5dc lg tv stuck in hotel mode

it is quite possible, if you bought this set from a hotel liquidation, it might still have it's lodgenet card. If it does, then it may be stuck on the channels the hotel had lined up. If there is a lodgenet card (where the cable jack is on the back) you can remove the 2 screws and just pull the card out an inch (leaving it attached to the black cable). Once that card is out, the tv should fall back to normal use. You might need to do a facotry reset to unlock TV options at that point. Only way around this would be to remove the 2 screws holding in the lodgenet card, and pulling it out of the back of the set (Don't have to pull it out all the way, just enough to disengage the data socket. Once the card is removed, you would need an actual LG remote (not the pay per view remote) and hit menu a bunch of times until it stops flashing menu on and off. Once it stops, you type in on the keypad, "98765" "ENTER". This will take you to an installer menu. Scrolling down to the highest numer there is (Should be one backwards from the "000" you start on" there is "Factory Reset" and you use the right arrow key and set it to "1" and then press enter. The TV will flicker a couple times, and then, all inputs are active.

Hi, I some how put my lg tv into hotel mode and I don’t have the remote only one installed on my phone and now I can’t do anything with the app on my phone coz the tv is in hotel mode. Any way I can fix it...

Press both Menu buttons for 10 seconds
Simultaneously press and hold MENU buttons on the remote app and on the TV itself. The factory menu should appear. Let go of the MENU buttons and press one of them again once (either on TV or on the remote app). Now you should be able to disable hotel mode.

Remove (not disable) Hotel Mode

Open up the menu and do a factory reset. This will make it a normal TV again.

How do i get my panasonic th37pr9u out of hotel mode....i have tried a few things i found online but no remedy has worked.

Getting out of the hotel mode is very easy. Just go get the Panasonic remote and open your tv. Go near the tv and hold down the V/- button on the television itself. Then use the remote and press the AV button for 3 times. A hidden menu on the television screen will appear. Turn off the "Hotel Mode" from the menu and exit. Do not touch anything from the hidden menu except the hotel mode. Now you can use your tv in normal mode. The remote is required to access the hidden menu so be sure your remote is working and has working or full charged battery before doing the steps above

How do I reset my tv without remote control?

Without the remote control, you can not do a factory reset; Can only of the hard reset. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it to reset system [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the website linked here. How do i get my lg32lx4dc tv out of hotel mode?

You have to enter its service mode option to release the Hotel mode. For that, you should have its 'Service Remote Control'; not the user remote control. It will be best to contact the authorized service center for LG. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

I bought a Panasonic 42" Plasma th-42pwd8 from a hotel. The monitor had the menu, and channel buttons disabled through "Hotel mode". It did not come with a remote. How do I unlock the buttons?

If you cannot find the remote control at all, you will need to reprogram the EPROM IC. This IC is inside the tv, with numbers starting or in between 24c02.... Please contact any qualified tehnican for further help. The IC i mentioned is programmed and at present it is locked through Hotel Mode. Also try to look RESET switch, to reset the whole unit. Thanks

I bought a 32LC5DC Lg tv from an hotel auction. The side panel doesnt work. The thing I need to find is how to access the "setup menu" inside the regular menu. I can get into the regular menu just fine,...

The only thing that would cause this is a lock!

If you ever forget your password, key in ‘7’, ‘7’, ‘7’, ‘7’
on the remote control.

If unlocking does not free up the unit menu then the unit has most likely had a software upgrade at some point to disable these functions permanently. This is normal hotel based systems in order to prevent them being used if they are stolen. In this case you will have to contact LG directly with Model no and Serial No details to get them to assist you.
