SOURCE: what is an indoor solution to finding the leak in

Two ways, one is to move around it slowly using your cheek (face that is). It is sensitive and will pick up the leak easily, and then just mark it with a marker. The other, although a little messy, but extremely effective is to use your bath tub. Best of luck.

SOURCE: My air mattress won't stay inflated. What's wrong?

If its just a small leak of air once in a while, don't worry. However, if you notice that the air is deflating considerably throughout the night you will need to check for holes.

SOURCE: I have a SeaHawk 340 that is missing the cap for

Too late with this reply, but hope it helps someone else like us. I had the same problem, then discovered the boat manual and found the cap is called a Boston valve; in this case 2cm (diameter). I cannibalised a smaller boat of ours for one (valve the same size), and you may get one cheaply by doing the same from a cheap boat at a car boot sale. Otherwise search eBay or Amazon for "Boston valve" or "Boston screw"; not cheap, but still a lot cheaper than a new boat.

Sounds like one of the inner chambers is broke, If that's the case you will have to replace the mattress.

How do you deflate the northwest territory queen size air bed

I was confused by this too. Here's the trick:

When you inflate the mattress, you unscrew the square-shaped plastic cap, like this:

But this is *not* the cap you unscrew to deflate it!

To deflate it, you have to unscrew the plastic at the *round* part that's beneath the square cape -- i.e. the part of the plastic that's affixed directly to the mattress. When you unscrew the round part, the entire plastic apparatus detaches from the mattress, leaving a big open round hole where the air rushes out.

It looks like this:

I have a Coleman Guest Rest Sleep System and I cannot get the air out of the mattress. I have taken the pump out of the casing and inserted it in the hole for deflating and I can't get it to work.

Is it battery or electricity operated? You might need to replace the battery or hook it up to the right outlet. Follow the instructions in inserting it to the hole. Make sure you press the deflate button and not the inflate button.

If the pump device is really not working, you can temporarily manually deflate the air bed by unhooking the air release nozzle. Press it slightly to allow the mattress to deflate faster. Step on the mattress lightly to force air out a bit.
