What did you actually clean? An outside the hull transducer MIGHT only need a LIGHT sanding on its face with 400 grit WET sandpaper. What did you refill...and with what did you refill it?? What did you disassemble? If you took your unit apart, time to send it to the factory and pray they can fix it!!

The answer is yes. The transducer will fit both units fine without any modification.

It is not the transducer. the transducer just provides the sonar reading back to the display. The issue is with the display head unit. Have you tried to adjust the contrast for the fading? Does the screen disappear after awhile? Is the head unit mounted close to other navigation equipment, such as a Compass that may cause interference?

Hi The issue may be due to flow system; to troubleshoot the
system follow the instructions-- 1. Remove Smart Mix piston from the main housing and place Smart
Mix body (located beneath the knob on the main housing, inside of the unit) so
that it is 1/16" from completely inserted. 2. Replace tanks in unit. 3. Plug unit in and turn it on. 4. Pull trigger to check spray -- making sure upper handle
is firmly positioned onto the lower handle. Water should flow through tubing
from the tank to the pump and the red float inside the pump should move up. If
it doesn't, replace the pump. 5. Check the tubes for air bubbles as the unit is spraying
-- bubbles indicate an air leak that prevents pump from priming. 6. Locate the source of any air leaks and correct them,
looking first at the auto load receiver (under the tank) and the Smart Mix
assembly. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance. Daniel
