SOURCE: Generator hard to start. Kick back

This sounds like the timing is off. Remove the spark plug and pull the cord to see if there is less tension. If there is less tension then you know that the pull cord is fine. Do a compression check on the cylinder, it should be around 100psi. Remove the valve cover and check to see if valves are moving when your pulling the cord. The valves could have came off the rockers.

SOURCE: I broke the pull cord on my generator; how do I

you should remove the housing usually 4 bolts
dont remove anything else then look at the pully and remove the old chord tie a knot in the new chord and slot it into the hole on the pulley
you should then see a notch in the edge of the pulley this is for the chord to sit in while you turn the pully enough times to tension the recoil spring once tensioned enough so that it recoils all the chord slot the chord through the hole in the outer casing through the pull hande and knot it job done then refit

Fuji Micro F6200Ri Generator will not prime with fuel. Is this a common problem?

Hi!

It will either be a split in the Primer or the Diaphragm pump has degraded inside and needs replacing.
https://www.generatorguru.com/primer-bulb-assembly-95937601/
https://www.generatorguru.com/fuel-diaphragm-pump-vacuum-43053786/

You will need to remove the casing and inspect these parts. Test the primer by putting your finger over the end and pump it. It should have pressure. If not the primer, then it will be the diaphragm pump.

Also check the float in the carb, just to be sure it is not stuck. Much like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LrBmeBcVnA

If you need any other part or advice contact us through out Help Centre and we will get an engineer to assist you.

Fuji Micro Generator FJ6200Ri. What is starter Battery Voltage?

At present, the gasoline engine does not have 24 V, diesel engine has 12 V. The ignition of gasoline engines is different from that of diesel engines. Gasoline engines use spark plugs to ignite combustible mixture air to explode for work, so they do not need high speed. A low-power starter does not have to use 24Vstarter battery, while a diesel engine needs a high speed to do its work through a high-pressure spontaneous combustion explosion, such as the excessive volume of a 12V high-power motor. Therefore, the low temperature starting performance of 24V.12V diesel engine is generally used in low power diesel engine, and the application of deceleration starter solves this shortcoming.

I have fuji micro 2500uc f5200i producing no power but seems to be over reving

Hi Justine,
I have exactly the same problem.
I checked the Stepper Motor which is connected to the carburetor and sets the engines revs. This was not working, then realised the whole Generator Invertor Board was probably not working. This would account for the zero Volts and over reving problem.
Found this Australian site selling spare parts : https://www.edisons.com.au/generator-inverter-board-1902/
$160- for the complete Invertor Board. That's my next step.
Did you fix your's any other way?

Instuctions on how to start mcculloch generator 1800 w

I have one.. great little unit.. very reliable..
I am a wannabee diy guy.. so good luck
1 assuming sparkplug is good / in / /newish??
Fuel needs to be filled.. I suggest premium only (less residue if it sits for long.)
fill oil.. top up..
d/c electric plugs
then
togle ignition switch to on
turn fuel cap to on
turn fuel switch (sw) to on
move choke to start if engine is cold start.
pull starter cord ..
good luck
ps.. I have learned to run engine dry of fuel after use. turn off fuel (sw).. this empties carb.. You may have to pull starter cord a few times with next start to bring the fuel down..
