Look at the saw body from the nose of the bar, Just to the left of the bar a slotted screw head should be visible (on clutch cover). That is your tension adjustment.

Use a file around the perimeter of the bar at about a 45° angle, both sides. Remove just enough metal to see where the file has been. I think you have a wire edge that is causing the bar to cut at an angle. Be careful it is sharp. If that is not it post back below. Good Luck. HTH

Tension adjustment is on page 10. All chains are adjusted similarly, this one is reasonably complete, the only addition I suggest is to elevate the nose of the bar when adjusting and tightening. Experience tells me adjustments require many fewer tweaks when the nose is elevated.
