SOURCE: power supply light has blinking green light

If the power box is bad, The computer will not come on. if you only get a green light, you would need to start with replaceing the power box, if you get a new one and the same thing happens, then the mother board is bad too.

SOURCE: I have a power supply problem with my Drink-O-Matic product.

You can email the service department about it. I had a similar problem. A new power supply is $25 including shipping. If yours is still under warranty I believe it is free.

SOURCE: I plugged the printer into 220 volts inlet ,burned power supply

Cheaper to replace the machine than buy a power supply - unless you find a parts machine somewhere.

SOURCE: No power to coach when generator runs but power

Do you have automatic switch over in your system, or is there a receptacle where power cord stores, that you need to plug power cord into, for power from generator?

My TV does not show anything.I can see the red light blinking when I press the button on the controller but nothing after.I dismounted the TV & I see black burnt on the power supply problem circuits.

IF you say you saw burn marks on the power supply, then for sure it has an issue. however, I will not advise you to buy a power supply from a website as the damage may be more extensive than the actual burnt power supply. you should take it to a repairman and get it checked out.

Dewalt DG7000E stalls out whenever switch set to 240v. (with or without load) Runs fine and powers things with the 120V setting and plugs. Any ideas?

It might be one of the following: 1. Voltage changeover selector switch has blown - check if the power is still there before it enters the switch and still there after it leaves. 2. Breaker has failed on that leg - test before and after to see if working correctly 3. The plug socket has failed - Look for burn marks where wiring enters. 3. There is a fault in the alternator - see 2nd video down on this page for testing:https://www.generatorguru.com/help-me-fix-my-generator-repair-advice/ Hope this helps you. I own a 2008 holden statesman and i have a problem with headlight globes. Every time i change the globe its always dull i have tried cheap ebay globes right up to $300 h.i.d kits and still dull

Hi Michael The issue you have sounds more like a power/earth supply issue. I'm assuming the light lense and reflectors are in good order. The battery is good and no issues with the charging system. Start with the easy side earth or ground side. Connect a seperate earth from light to battery earth terminal just for test purpose. If light is improved then do the same the otherside. if good then you have an earthing problem.(use a slightly heavier gauge wire than your nomal lighting wire so there is no voltage drop). If no different move to power side disconnect connector to globe check and be sure which is the live terminal on the globe and connect a wire as before from + terminal on battery to positive on globe, light must be bright now. Ist check for loose or burnt terminals ie at connection to globe, battery power/ earth terminals.Check Battery to chassis connections for tightness. If easy to do so remove and and clean an re secure. Check engine to battery/chassis connections if all good you have to move onto the supply from fuse box and any connetions in between this is where it becomes more involved and would advise a qualified person to investigate. good luck

My ibm laptop's mother board cannot power on, please help me solve it

The most likely problem is that the onboard power supply has failed, usually a capacitor has burned out. Or it could be a loose DC supply socket (they only need to have one loose pin on the motherboard.)

My Power supply burned cause my brother Plugged it in the New zealand power,....Im from the STATES,...What makes me concerned is that im afraid that my console is Damaged,...Please tell me its not...

Welcome to Fixya

Looks like you have a burnt power supply. Burnt power supply wont damage the console. Purchase a new power supply and problem will be solved.

Does it have a fuse we got hit by lighting and now the Pc wont power up

To fix the problem, you need to disassemble the power supply, replace the burnt out fuse, & also check the bridge rectifier section for burnt out rectifying diodes (these usually get burnt out if the high current gets the chance to leak past the fuse, which could sometimes happen). If you find burnt out rectifying diodes, you will need to replace them as well, as they could burn out the fuse again when you try to use the power supply while they are still there.

Sony Projection TV 60 XBR, wont turn on, blinking green light

This sounds like when the power came back on a surge went into your tv and burnt out the TVs main power supply or possibly burn out the flyback power converter on the TV main board!
(I am pretty sure it is either one of these things!)

AOC A27W221 27 in. LCD Television Problem

This sucks the same thing happened to the one I had. What happened is the power supply burnt out. Yes I took it apart and took off the power supply and it had black under it. Something got burned. If you replace the power supply it should work. However if you find a power supply and are will to pay about a hundred dollars for it because people are cheap it really isn't worth fixing. Why fix it when it could easily burn out again.

Infocus LP-820 no power

You should get some indication of power even without the globe. This can however be a problem relating to the globe not being inside the projector.
Most projectors use a switch inside so they know when a lamp is installed. Some have several of these and a fuse that is on the lamp unit itself.

Replace the lamp back into the projector and apply power again. If you get lights then you have that much solved at least.

If there are still no power lights at all, then you may have had a power surge that not only killed the globe, but has blown the internal fuse for the power supply as well (or even killed the power supply)
To get access to the power supply you will need to disassemble the whole unit almost. If your not comfortable doing this, then I would advise getting it checked over by your local tech. It could save you hundreds of dollars buying a new lamp when the projector may not be worth repairing.
