you will need to take the top off and push the drum to the rear to locate the door fixing screws and adjust as necessary and or adjust the door lock eric
Hi there, given this a lot of thought. I had same problem. Could be that you are in a hard water area. Soap is not dissolving properly and building up in the rubber tube between soap box and drum. How I resolved this. Turn off power remove top cover of washing machine and massage the rubber pipe between soap box and drum to soften and cause undissolved saoa to drop into drum. This should rectify problem. Also consider using every month some descaler powder called Descaler cheapest from Axxxxn best wishes.
its proberly the drum bearings or you have something stuck in the drum was the machine getting noisy before this happend if so it will be your drum bearings
firstly remove rear cover and check during running if any hose is leak?
or-
water seal inside drum is leak for this drum has to be open. mostly bearing are damager due to water entering bearings. so bearing are needs replacement.
If you remove the back panel you will be able see the drum rollers. There's a good chance they may be worn out. As long as you are replacing the rollers I would suggest replacing the belt at the same time.
Typically when the rollers wear out, the drum drops ever so slightly and the drum wears on the front and rear drum to cabinet seals. The added drag can cause a slow drum and squealing noises.
Good luck, let me know if there is anything further you need.
Regards,
Sounds very similar to having something such as a sock or small article of clothing that is too large to be sucked down the drain hose into the pump. So what happens is it hangs around between the inner and outer drums and sometimes gets itself lodged over the drum drain hole, and can allow water to be centrifically flung over the top of the drum. Most times when the spin cycle stops, the article of clothing will dislodge and float around inside the drum only to do it again later.... If you can remove the top of the machine, you can usually see the gap between the two drums and use a piece of coathanger wire with a small hook on the end and "go fishing in the area between the two drums and close to the drain hole location... bet you'll find something in there... Let me know how it goes... and if I can help .. ken
I have the same washer unit and I purchased my washer new in 1989. The flashing filter light is normal. If the light doesn't flash, than the water filter is plugged up. The water filter is self cleaning each time the water empties. You can take off the front panel(two screws at the bottom and the top disengages with metal clips. The water filter in at the bottom on the right, white plastic housing. There is a drive belt from the motor that powers the pump. When the washer goes into the spin cycle, the motor changes rotation direction and the pump works in reverse, thus flushing out the lint that may have been captured during the agitation cycle. I hope this helps.
