I need manual for operating janome 802 - Janome Sewing Machines

I had an older Janome machine, and when i needed a manual, parts etc. I found it best to go straight to the company. Saves you time and frustration searching. Do a google search for that brand of machine and add the model number and see what comes up. Be sure to to add the word manuals, or operating instructions too. Like this, from your google search type:
(Janome sewing machine operating instruction, or manual) or something close to that. If nothing else you will probably find several dealers, and repair shops that should be able to help you. And you might try a web site called Free online manuals,to download. They usually have everything. Good luck.

Unfortunately, the only model 802 I can locate is a Janome sewing machine.

Loosen the top cover the add a couple drops oil at each joint. Do the same for the rest of the machine. Remove the bobbin case and permit the sewing machine to run freely. It may take 10-15 minutes before it begins to loosen.

sounds like this machine may need a good cleaning as areas that are not visible can become clogged with lent, threads, etc. and cause it not to work and sound loud. I recently bought a non-working Janome for parts and wound up checking it out and found the gears were completely encrusted with lint, threads and who knows what else. I spent 2 hours cleaning the gear and she worked like a new machine after I did the cleaning and then reset the machine. It was the Janome Memory Craft 8000..I could not believe that little jewel had, apparently, never been properly cleaned.
