You can do that using the hot water cycle.

I had a crack in the tube that connected to the brew group that resulted in a similar dumping of coffee in the dregs (and below the dreg drawer and onto the counter) in my Saeco Odea Giro. Replacing the "Saeco Odea Giro Coffee Dispensing Tube, part number 11003468, fixed my problem. You can replace this yourself if you are very handy. Thermal switch has tripped on the boiler and can be reset by pushing in the pin. Or more seriously can be the circuit board failure.

The problem is with the flow meter which is a turbine unit that is installed before the pump.Either there is a blockage or the unit is bad.Have to open the machine to get into it.

That is the machine is saying to empty the drip tray, pull out the tray on the side and wait until the red light start flashing then put back the tray.

Yes it might be the main board. but i would first try reseting the Boiler automatic fuses
