Withdrawl symptoms would have ended a long time ago. 247 days there wont be any however the mental "need" of something in the lip may still exist. After i quit chew i used shredded beef jerky and it got that need to have something in my lip defeated
I don't know though I would expect some initial irritability, but I expect after 247 days that would have worn off. Saliva production might be semi-permanently altered (increased) and food is probably tasting differently...

the rubber belts and rubber capstan need cleaning/conditioning. you can attempt this with alcohol swabs and if you find rubber conditioner (in the past was easy to find in audio supply stores) apply some of this also. if this treatment does not solve, then may need new rubber belt kit. good luck.

My dog chewed through the power cord (luckily unplugged). Are there replacement parts available and I can't seem to find out to detach the cord from the unit.

You paid good money for a noise-cancelling headset and it is just trying to do that; cancel noise.
The pickups used to find the level of noise and cancel it, don't really care if they are picking up crunching carrots or someone hammering nails; they cancel.
