I don’t have a control for a tv that was given to me it’s a Element flat screen and I can’t seem to find anything device onthe the tv to turn it on, since I have no control

Some sets and devices have HDMI control that can turn off and on devices connected to them. Look into the settings of both devices and search for anything to do with HDMI control.

It seems like your Tv is on demo mode go to the menu screen select option and search for tv mode turn it from store/demo mode to house mode also check that if demo in on to turn it off
