Question about Hitachi Televison & Video

Open Question

Hitachi LE55A6R9A. Basically, there was a power outage and it worked for the next day or so then it only emitted audio but no picture.

I went and bought a T-Con board and after installing it there was no luck. My next step was going to be to buy the Power Supply Board. Is this the right move? check input or source

SOURCE: Hitachi 57f500a e907 fuse blew on the power supply

If QH01 is shorted again, then this is an indication that the FBT is already faulty causing QH01 to shorts right away and blew E907(self destruct when shorts occured on the line). 100VDC isn't causing E907 to blew, you've only got 100VDC because the FBT didn't oscillate yet. Before you replaced the FBT make sure to test all parts parallel on the B+ line like DH09, Q701, CH16, CH13, CH20. It is better to pull-out the FBT while testing the shorted/leaky parts on the board to make your reading more accurate. If you found the said parts to be in good condition, then you have to replaced the FBT.

Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

SOURCE: powersupply went out replaced power supply on my DX4300 powers on but no picture on moniter

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

if its a 40 pin flat ribbon type it will be the first to fail

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions

even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems

computers need all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free

restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

hope this helps

You reports that you've changed the T'Con board. Where is the T'Con board to a Plasma TV? There is no such board to any plasmas. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. You can also click the [Home] tab to see the latest updates. It will make search easy. There are more than 1350 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older posts there or make a search by typing in the brand name of the device in the "Search Box", at the top right of the display window

SOURCE: Replaced main power board and t con board. Picture now works, but horizontal white lines moving upward.

Sounds like fault with its main power supply bard too. Check all the wiring connections from the main board to SMPS board for any loose connection. Improper wiring too can cause this fault, due to AC line interference. Check these well, before replace the SMPS [power supply] board.
If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

My tv clicks to come on but no sound no picture

If there was a power outage the problem is likely in the power supply.

The power light on the front comes on or not?

If no power light unplug the set and follow power cord inside and check the fuses---the click is a power relay activating---set may have up to 3 black relays on the power board.

Let me know your skill level and I will be happy to help.
