The washing machine drainage pipe that will be at the back of the appliance, or it could be connected directly to the U-bend under your sink.
Switch off the washing machine at the wall and you'll need to grab a decent-sized bucket and a towel.

Does holden captiva 2007 has a water drain plug

Hello Tere,

Are you asking about drain outlet for radiator coolant? If yes, then there is a radiator drain under the front of the vehicle. Simply locate the radiator and the drain outlet will be towards the driver's side, or passenger side of the radiator.

Cycle has finished water not drained "check drain" light flashing. I have checked drain outlet all clear.

This could be a problem internal to the machine. If there is a sock or some other piece of debris clogging the drain pump or drain line you will get this message. You may have to open the unit and inspect the drain lines from the drum through the pump to the outlet drain hose to find the obstruction. It could also be a failed drain pump.

DISHWASHER WILL NOT DRAIN PLUMBER WAS CONTACTED DRAIN LINE IS FINE LOOKING FOR OTHER CAUSES? THANKS, SEAN

Can you hear the pump trying to drain it? If you can then you have a blockage. Try blowing hard down the outlet hose, what happens? Have you checked all filters?

Miele novitronic w830. Drain wont work. I've cleaned the outlet of dirt and the wheel inside the outlet is spinning freely. Reggadles, red light comes up.

Hi,

Have you tried checking the drain spigot under the sink where the waste hose connects as it can be blocked at this end?
Try draining the unit into a bucket instead of the sink this will eliminate the washing machine as being the problem if it works ok.

is the drain pump actually turning? select drain or drain spin and have the fluff filter (outlet) removed so you can see if it is turning. if it isn't turning there maybe a broken wire to the drain pump causing it not to turn or the drain pump is jammed with something although you mentioned you could spin it freely.

hope this helps

Dishwater not fully exspeeling from dishwaser

If nothing obvious like blocked / obstructed outlet pipe
You need to check if the outlet pump motor in line with the outlet hose is spinning when in the outlet mode. First check if it is spinning by looking at it and see if the small fan is spinning FREELY. If it is turnning this means that it has power and the internal "impeler" that pushes the water out has become loose. Remove the pump (easy job) and repair. If it does not spin you need to determine if the 2 push on terminals have power on. If there is voltage and the motor does nut spin this indicates that the pump motor is open circuit and must be replaced.

There is water left in the dishwasher and the smell comes up through the drain

Look under the sink where the dishwasher drain line connects to the waste pipe outlet. The dishwasher connecting hose should be supported higher than the outlet connection. If the dw drain hose is too low the sink drain water is backing into the dishwasher.
