SOURCE: siemens hydrosensor dishwasher SE25A091GB/22

Paul

If you are still trying to sort out this issue try the following.

From what you say then it is most likely the aqua sensor on the side of the dishwasher. The gurgling sounds that you hear are likely the drain pump running and the un-drainable water sloshing in the sump.

Verify that there is actually water going to the dishwasher( Basic step but often overlooked)

Next the inlet valve will have to be checked. This is the part where the water line from the house connects to the dishwasher, under the toe/kick panel. Remove power from the dishwasher. Disconnect the dishwasher electrical connections (2 wires) to the inlet valve and connect it (carefully to 110 V power) using a jumper wire. With 110V power the valve should open and water will flow into the dishwasher, if not then the fault is in the inlet valve.

If this checks fine then the fault is likely in the aqua sensor...

On the outer left side (viewed from front) there is a panel, Behind this panel there is a small clear(of light blue) plastic mechanism with hoses and wires attached( There is usually a yellow disk at the top about 6cm in diameter) this is a float and sensor assembly there is tells the control the water level and works as an emergency drain if there is an issue. There will be a red stick protruding downward to the base and a Styrofoam float on which the stick rests. This is a pan overflow sensor if the stick is too high the unit will go into drain and cut off the fill valve power. The yellow disk is a diaphragm which senses water height. This unit can become stuck with wear and hard water.

SOURCE: Where is the thermal fuse for Kenmore 665 11073342 dishwasher?

The thermal fuse is located in the front control panel where the circuit board is. You need to remove 4 screws(depending on the type of dishwasher you have) and you will see it. Make sure you change everything not just the fuse but the new wires also.

Hope this fixes your problem

SOURCE: Our Siemens dishwasher retains water and smells

I would check the bottom of the dishwasher to see if there are any bones, old food built up as some of these collection systems have a small disposer built into them.
If you find any food, it's probably that.
Also, you can make sure that the drain line is the proper length and high enough as this is a common problem. Do a good search on proper drain height for dishwasher.
You may run an empty load of dishes with a cup of bleach added to eliminate the odor as well. Bleach will kill any bacteria causing the smell. More than likely the drain hose wasn't installed correctly.

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a dish-washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

Currys Essential Slimline CDW45W10. Why is water not getting hot?

These seem like the siemens/bosch type. There is a heater relay that can go bad. Its in the front panel. Check the relays in the front panel for bad solder or burn marks.

Error code E:14 Siemens Dishwasher - stops after 1 min of cycle

It might be helpful if you provide the full model number of the Siemens dishwasher. Most likely E14 error has something to do with water flow sensing. Check if your mains water pressure is ok (tap under sink is fully open). But can provide more details only if you can tell me the model number.

Dishwasher won t fill

I had a similar problem with a Kenmore; the problem turned out to be that the float was stuck. On the bottom of your dishwasher there should be something that looks vaguely like a plastic mushroom - that is the float. Just tap it gently and see if it goes down a bit. If it does, gently move it up and down a few times to make sure it's moving freely (make sure to leave it in the down position) and then try to launch a cycle. Good luck!

E24 code on Siemens dishwasher, water still in machine

E24 indicates a draining failure.

If the appliance has stopped full of water then you have to check the drain hose for blockages, especially where it connects to the drain. Check the pump for a blockage, bail out the water manually and remove the filters. You should find a cover held by a screw covering the pump impellor. Take out the screw, take off the cover and remove anything jamming the pump. Refit the cover and try the appliance again.

No power for my Siemans SL84A dishwasher

Not a solution but a cause for my DW having the same problem. One of the four wires going to the On/Off switch shorted and burned. I never lost power to the unit, as far as I know there is no reset button of fuse. I rewired the unit and ran several washes without overheating or shorting.

Dishwasher won't drain all the way

After cleaning the air gap thingy my machine works fine again. This thing sits on the left lower back side of the machine (left when you are standing in front of the machine). It is a transparent plastic box with 3 hoses attached (drain hose from pump, drain hose to the outside and water). Inside the box is a black plastic float. If debris gets caught in there the float gets stuck.
Solution is to remove the part by pulling the 2 drain hoses out (there is a small black clip holding them in) and unclamp and remove the water hose. Rinse and shake the housing until the float moves freely again and reassemble.
