Dear Annie Laurie,
I sympathise with your problem - unfortunately you have posted your query in a forum dealing with video cameras, so, unless you intended to film the process of laundrifying your garments, choosing a different forum (and, indeed, giving more in-depth information concerning the machinery and the fault) might get a more useful response. BTW, I suppose you have checked the manual for that error code - and also that the door is closed ?

E 23 ERORR TOSHIBA AW-SD140S

Error code E32 alternately flashes "End" on the display. There's no real error, but the washing machine has interrupted the washing cycle because of an imbalance in the drum. The laundry isn't distributed evenly. Properly distribute the laundry over the drum. Alternate between small and large clothes, so large, heavy clothes don't all end up on one side. Start a spinning cycle if the result isn't what it should be because of the error.

Hi - My Whirlpool washer appears to not use enough water. Don't get me wrong, I want the machine to use low water (that's why I bought a front loader, model: WFW97HEX). However, when I stop the...

Don't pause the cycle mid cycle. The machine uses the amount of water it needs to clean the amount of clothes that are in the tub. If you pause it after the first 7 or 8 minutes, you're already past the sensing part of the cycle and likely you won't get more water for the additional clothes.

Also, the clothes don't need to be soaking wet or wet enough to wring out. These new HE machines mix the detergent with water and then spray that detergent solution onto your clothes. Then the clothes against clothes rubbing with that solution already coating the clothes is how the machines clean better! It is a very similar process to when you pretreat your clothes with Shout of Spray and Wash. You spray the clothes and then rub the short against itself. Now the Whirlpool machines are doing this for you!

What does half a cycle mean are you in Wash cycle, Spin Cycle? What does the Cycle Status LED indicate?

If you think the wash load is in a spin cycle of the wash cycle or rinse cycle place the machine in Spin Only cycle and see if it will complete.

EVERYTHING WORKS FINE UNTILL IT GET TOWARDS THE END OF SPIN CYCLE THEN IT STARTS VIBRATING AND WALKING ACROSS THE FLOOR PLEASE HELP ? WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD THIS PROBLEM EVEN AFTER LOWES INSTALLED THE WASHER...

First, make sure the 4 shipping bolts have been removed, and that the machine is level front to back and left to right BOTH! Some machines prefer to be high in the front. VERY IMPORTANT Must have a minimum of clothes & towels, sheets or blankets to wash. DON"T wash 2-5 item loads (small loads)
run machine at least 2/3 full of dry clothes. These machines are built to wash more per load, also because of the many technical parts of the machine, sensors and relays, the machine decides how much water to use not the user! Some "Old Schoolers" have a real issue with the lack of water and unclean clothing... most complaints are user error. Enjoy the new front loading technologies! Cheers! Happy Washing.

"OL" error message

I believe that I had this same problem. The machine was skipping the wash cycle. After the water level rose to where you would expect the machine to go into an agitation cycle to wash clothes; it would start a spin cycle and drain the water. In the process of spinning it would stop to display the OL message over and over again as quick as you redistribute the load.

I found the problem to be clothes that got stuck underneath the impeller (round thing at the bottom center of the basket). Somehow I also had clothes get pulled down and got stuck underneath the basket next to the lint filter, these items were shredded to the point that they probably were not causing any issues, none the less they should not have been in there. Even though it was not the problem, I went ahead and took out and cleaned the lint filter since it was within reach.

This machine works a bit different then other machines. The agitation cycle is dependent upon the basket floating up and disengaging from the drive shaft. I guess the clothes that got stuck beneath the impeller did not allow the basket to float high enough to disengage from the drive shaft. Because the basket was still engaged to the drive shaft the drive motor would spin the basket and start a drain cycle rather agitate the load to wash it. The imbalance of the basket caused by the clothes stuck underneath the impeller kicked of the OL error since the basket was spinning at an unacceptable angle. I am not a repair dude but based on my observation of what I did to fix the problem this explanation works for me.

I've attached some pages of a repair manual that I found on-line to illustrate the areas that I am referring to.

LG WM2077CW (UE error code)

For "ue" an unbalanced load is sensed three times; re-adjust your load in the machine. What is the capacity of your machine, you could weigh your dry clothes........refer manual.

For e1, it could be a water sensor problem. Check to see if the inlet valve is okay and not clogged, water shd be in good pressure. If this is okay, open up behind after taking the plug off the wall. There is a thin tube coming from the switch area to the outlet pump area; disconnect this from the top carefully and blow into it, it should be free; if it is clogged you will hav a water level problem. Unblock and refit carefully.
.....& rate me if helped.

Error code LE

Suggestion: Your wash could be overloaded; put in clothes within machine's capacity. What is written in your manual's max clothes capacity. If your heater is on; switch off machine and wall plug. Reset the machine with the heater on minimum & resume your normal cycle.
