It sounds like you have a leaking pump. The pump is easy to replace:
#1 Use a shop vac and pull all the water out of the drain line. This will keep you from having to clean up about 1 gallon of water off of the floor.
#2 Lift the front of the machine enough for you to get under and see.the pump just inside the front of the washer.
#3 Lift the 2 retaining clips off of the pump. This will allow you to pull the pump off of the motor.
#4 Remove the 2 clamps off of the hoses.
#5 Install the new pump into the hoses, and reinstall the clamps.
#6 With the retaining clips installed into the motor housing, install the pump.
#7 Attach the retaining clips, and set the washer back on the ground.

You have now replaced the washer pump.

SOURCE: washing machine leaking at the connection to water pipe.

Hi vks1,

Your water is coming out into the washer even when you water supply is switched off at the pipe?

Disconnect the washer hose from the water pipe and see if the water still comes out of the water pipe even when the water valve is shut off!
If the answer is YES!

This is a plumbing malfunction.
The valve on your water pipe is not closing completely!
There is a washer in the water valve attached to the end of the valve stem that more than likely needs replacement.

And not a washer malfunction.

If I understand your explanation correctly this is the cause.

If this is not the problem then the washer has a water inlet that is stuck open.

But this dose not make sense if the external water valve is shut off there should not be water reaching the washer inlet faulty or not!

I believe I figured out the problem for you and you will be fine when the valve is fixed or the valve stem replaced!
Bless You,

Now I think I have other things wrong with mine, after leakage problem the refrigeration compartment wont cool anymore but the freezer part remains working as usual.Ive nailed this down to one of the following not working... Thermostat / timer / defrost heater. So one or more of these needs replacing.Im just trying to look for a manual which shows the nuts and bolts or the refrigerator (not the "How to use" type manual which I have).

SOURCE: My speed queen top loader is leaking water during

It is probably the pump. Run the washer with the front off of it. The pump is on the bottom of the motor.

Easy repair.

Slide a couple of sheet of newspaper under the machine and leave it a while and pull it out. The drips will show the approximate location. Then you can pull the machine out and lean it against the wall to check underneath. Make sure someone is steadying it.

The most likely is a faulty water inlet solenoid valve.

Bosch washing machine leaks

what size is the line you are using for the gray water. what i mean is if you are trying ti use the same size hose as the original discharge
hose, the pressure to high. the hose original was about 1 inch diameter, the hose use to go up than the hose hook shape goes into the drain pipe thats 2-3 inches diameter for draining the water went into the sewer system, if your trying to use 1-1/2 hose, the diameter not enough air or room for all that water. i dont think the lenth the issue its the diameter and amount of pressure that being forced down small hose or pvc pipe.

Bosch avantixx front loader leaking underneath machine? machine only 2 years old

  • You will find a small door on the front bottom of the washing machine.
  • Open it.
  • Unscrew the filter and rinse it with running water.
  • Put it back in place and repeat the above steps in reverse order.
This should solve your leakage problem.

Washing machine Bosch Maxx classic. Water is not able to drain away. I unsrewed the bottom front to manually drain off the water and managed to remove only a few items and found nothing else that may have...

Take the left side panel off and see you there is any blockage in the big plastic pipe array. It is pretty easy to take off and hosepipe water through it whilst knocking it to remove any blockages. The same for the red float value just to the right of the pipe array. Make sure you have it unplugged whilst doing this !!!

Remove top and check that they are your fill vaulves. Your hoses should be connected to them if so.If they are leaking on inside of machine when off then they need replacing.

How to disconnect to enable replacement machine

3 things. 1)switch water supply off and dissconnect pipe off the machine. You will be using that pipe again. 2)remove draim pipe from drain. 3)unplug power.
New one comes with locking bolts which are used for transporting. They must be removed once unit is in the washing room. Never run machine with them still connected. when in position, put water pipe back on, then the drain pipe then apply the power.

Cold water or cold & hot water connection?

If there is only 1 water connection on the back of the machine then it's a cold water supply only and the machine will be fitted with a heater element to heat the water. If it has 2 water connections then you need the hot supply and should ask someone to fit the correct isolation valve on the capped pipe so you can fit the required hose. Most modern machines are cold water only.

Hi, It sounds like you have the two water pipes fitting on the wrong connectors on the back of the machine.

IE: The hot water pipe (RED connector) on the cold water inlet on the back of the machine (BLUE connector)

Is should be red to red and blue to blue.
