Hi, check all the switches on the face panel, if the switches donot have a "click" feel when pressed then they are faulty. The face panel then needs internal repairs. Also check the gold connections behind the face. Check to see if all the contact pins are clean and shiny, and the same goes for the contact pins on the head unit side as well. cheers.

There is a ribbon cable that tells the face what to do. You will have to take it in to get serviced as it is very hard to change. There are alot of pieces / parts inside.

Need to fix the time

I have the the sony cdx gt 400 and the manual is of no help but I figured it out. You have two options...option 1 is wait until 1 o'clock and hit the small reset button on the radio behind your detachable face, or option 2 is a even better option. Press and hold the volume button in and options will appear...then by tapping the volume button you will cycle through the various options until you find "clock adjust" then press the small "display" button below the volume knob and also right next to the "source" button...the hour will flash turn the volume knob to desired hour then tap the volume knob or display button and the minutes will flash then turn the volume knob to the desired minutes, and you are done...hopefully this helps
